DBX is huge — it can entertain you for dozens, if not hundreds of hours. On the other hand, you have to be a big fan of the series to enjoy the game.- Riot Pixels

A psychedelic look is not enough to make this ho-hum tower defense even remotely entertaining.- Riot Pixels

I hope that next time, Cliffhanger Productions will aim for the normal commercial model from the get-go, so they won’t have to make a shoddy rehash of the entire game when the F2P-udder suddenly dries off.- Riot Pixels

Many indie developers tried but failed to reach the bar set by TowerFall. They have no problem with generating cool fresh ideas, but few have turned a minimalistic prototype into a full-blooded game.- Riot Pixels

I have a feeling that the developer of Lex Mortis has never managed to nail down the concept of his creation. The game’s official description doesn’t lie — we are free to roam around a sizable sandbox, only there is nothing to do.- Riot Pixels

Maybe one day, in the distant future, the lone coder who works at TBA Games, will fix all the showstopping bugs. If he also manages to optimize the game’s engine, I will upgrade PeriAreion’s rating to 40.- Riot Pixels

Despite the fact that Telepath Tactics failed to fully live up to its promises, it is a decent game in its genre. And, it’s an excellent showcase of what just one developer can do.- Riot Pixels

Bloodbath Kavkaz crashes upon launch every other time, if you’re lucky. It’s nice to see that the developers made an effort to protect our time and nerve cells from their ‘masterpiece’.- Riot Pixels

Spirits of Xanadu promises lots of cool things, but never delivers. The concept is original, and the hallucinations are quite frightening, but in the end, it’s just an unfinished game with shoddy combat mechanics and a weak narrative.- Riot Pixels

Just like Re;Birth 1, Sisters Generation is a solid port of a budget JRPG that lacks in variety.- Riot Pixels

A well-balanced mix of arcade and text adventure, funny jokes, stylish graphics and sleek game design elevate 60 Seconds above all other post-apocalyptic survival games. I wish there were more objects and storyline twists, but even with this amount you will get enough random combinations to last you a few days.- Riot Pixels

No Arcade mode, no Survival, and you can’t even fight with a friend on the same screen, like it was in the original Karate Master… All you can do here is learn all the special moves, complete your training, defeat all the masters and forget about this game forever.- Riot Pixels

Bladestorm: Nightmare has lots of concepts that could have made it a very special game. Unfortunately, most of them don’t work, and some are even useless.- Riot Pixels

I don’t understand why CDF Ghostship exists at all. It is pretty much a carbon copy of Ghostship: Aftermath sans the dreadful feeling of desperation.- Riot Pixels

There is a long laundry list of what’s wrong with Axis Football 2015: no injuries, teleporting players during kick-offs… And instead of struggling, players simply hug each other and just stand there.- Riot Pixels

They should have released Dream Runners as a DLC for Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams. On its own, it is a bare-bones multiplayer-only game without a semblance of story or even a tutorial.- Riot Pixels

Ugly locations, absurd puzzles, feeble attempts at horror, and a lame ‘quiz’ at the end of each case… I was expecting a moving story, but I got only two short boring stories instead. Incorporating a new technology in a video game is a great idea. But you have to make a decent game first.- Riot Pixels

This NBA 2K is surely rife for nitpicking. Annoying update notifications, clunky menus, AI blunders, Spike Lee’s unnecessary meddling with the well-oiled machine of MyCareer, a rough Gauntlet mode, and traditional connectivity problems. But still, even with all that, NBA 2K16 is like a complex, mesmerizing painting.- Riot Pixels
