In Broken Sword 5, Revolution Software tried to mimic Revolution Software circa 1996, but, for the most part, it failed.- Riot Pixels

It seems that there are very few reasons to come back to Magicka 2 after having beaten the short campaign. Well, there is a bunch of customizable challenges that use the same 9 maps… and that’s it. Though, I’m sure the publisher already has a multi-year DLC plan written down.- Riot Pixels

Freaking Meatbags excels at cynical jokes and dark humor, but no matter how amusing the dialogues are, they’re not enough to compensate for the excruciatingly dull gameplay.- Riot Pixels

Rebel Cops has too many jagged edges so I can’t recommend to fans of turn-based tactics. It’s not a marked improvement over This Is the Police 2, either — in fact, this is pretty much an extract from that game.- Riot Pixels

Amazing storms is probably the only feature of Jurassic World Evolution worthy of a praise — they are always a joy to behold. The rest of the game is a powerful sedative capable of knocking out a T-Rex.- Riot Pixels

As it turns out, Toybox Turbos is just a boring, simplified clone of Micro Machines, Codemasters’ old hit.- Riot Pixels

In Warhammer: Chaosbane, there is only dull combat. Use two or three favorite abilities to kill hordes of same-looking enemies, marvel at bad animations and identical corridors, and try not to lose your mind. Even cooperative mode, which usually makes everything better, is a boring chore.- Riot Pixels

It is a definite step forward compared to Star Hammer Tactics, but there is so much stuff to add, like, for example, multiplayer and a global map with a strategic mode or a story campaign.- Riot Pixels

Knack 2, one of the least anticipated of Sony’s sequels, is quite spectacular and fun enough to make you forget about its stale, cliche-ridden script.- Riot Pixels

PES 2017 is an invitation to the best virtual soccer you've seen in years, if you're willing to overlook the lack of official licenses and some annoying technical glitches.- Riot Pixels

Why would someone in their right mind spend time and money on exploring Tannenberg? If you want to play a first-person shooter about WWI, just pick up Battlefield 1 with the season pass.- Riot Pixels

If you liked the description or screenshots from Chivalry: Deadliest Warrior, better buy the original game - Chivalry: Medieval Warfare. And if you already have it, then simply move along.- Riot Pixels

Alas, Valhalla Hills is too repetitive and simple, and its randomly generated maps are not a replacement for a normal single-player campaign.- Riot Pixels

Lichdom: Battlemage is a hymn to frustrated hopes. It had all the markings of something exciting: an experienced team, cool idea to use combat spells instead of traditional weapons, top-notch graphics engine, several years of development and a long gestation period in Steam Early Access… And it was all for naught.- Riot Pixels

Story is pretty much all that State of Mind going for, but slow pacing and monotonous gameplay of the first half, as well as weak environmental storytelling, lack of decent puzzles and nonlinearity suck out fun.- Riot Pixels

Owners of the PC version are faced with a difficult choice — either wait for the promised online multiplayer and enjoy the fact that it is a decent port of an excellent fighting game, or berate Team Ninja that Last Round lacks some odd features.- Riot Pixels

Shelter briefly teases with an original concept, but quickly ties you hand and foot, and then throws you into a blocky wasteland. Yes, one can argue that the game is a big metaphor for the circle of life and motherhood, but even this angle doesn’t make it interesting.- Riot Pixels

I enjoy playing Neverwinter Nights 2: Enhanced Edition much more than modern Obsidian games like Avowed. That's because Neverwinter Nights 2 offers exciting stories, interesting companions, and a rich role-playing system.- Riot Pixels

This updated version of Shadowgate is astonishingly close to the original game, but it is not a merit. The developers were high on nostalgia, and they ended up reanimating a decomposed corpse.- Riot Pixels

It takes about 20-25 hours to finish the campaign, but you will get tired of it halfway through. A cooperative mode a la Saints Row could’ve livened up these copy/pasted, repetitive missions, but it’s nowhere to be seen.- Riot Pixels
