Project Cars is not a bad racing game. It's just that as a racing simulator it has way too many flaws, especially in terms of realism during GPs. It abolishes the great chance of feeding an audience which remains hungry due to Codemasters' mistakes in its own F1 games. At the same time, it cannot base its possible success on the presence of other cars, which inevitably stay in the shadow of Formula A category.

Lone McLonegan is not a bad adventure. It's an above average game that obviously had a lot of room for improvement that would take it up at least one notch in quality. Quantum Break delivers a naïve but well-meaning sci-fi yarn aimed at the adolescent crowd, coupled with solid, even if ultimately unimpressive shooting mechanics and action set-pieces. Atrocious PC port aside, Quantum Break, if thoroughly patched and developed post launch, can find it’s niche as a sci-fi guilty pleasure, but it does not live up to Remedy’s lofty heritage.

The Long Dark’s long-awaited story mode, ultimately fails to stand on its own. It rather serves as a tutorial for an extremely robust, utterly unforgiving and uncomfortably realistic extreme winter conditions survival simulator game, that transcends Unity’s limitations to deliver a unique experience aimed at a very narrow and specific audience. Future episodes may tweak the story mode into a cohesive entity that can stand on its own, but in its current state, the Long Dark is aimed exclusively at the hardcore survival enthusiast.

Full of the ghosts of “the game that could have been”, The Technomancer’s solid combat mechanics and well thought out character classes cannot mask the absolutely terrible voice acting and presentation of the story. Through it’s 30 plus hour campaign it is fairly impossible that you will care about any of the characters you come across. Extensive backtracking and enemy respawning will test a potential player’s goodwill to it’s limits.

Walking miles and miles in a virtual wood is surely not the best way to spend your afternoons. What could have been an excellent simulator ended in becoming a repetitive and mindless buttonfest, without any accuracy in mushroom hunting.

If you can tolerate limited gameplay options and wish to experience fast-paced, simple online battles, Bannermen will hold some appeal for you. Otherwise, if you are looking for more complex systems or your next favorite RTS, you should probably spend your time and money elsewhere.

While the very foundations of the game may be good, the overall execution is mediocre in all aspects at best. Plagued by netcode and performance issues, it is evident that the title was rushed out the door. The only thing left to do with Warhammer 40K: Eternal Crusade is to hope that Behaviour Interactive can somehow improve it and make it a much more enjoyable experience than what it is now.

An unsatisfactory repetition of last year's game, F1 2014 cannot justify its release. The minor gameplay improvements are inadequate, compared to the various deficiencies, such as graphics and sound stagnation, lack of ERS system, absence of a special gaming mode like Champions or Classic mode of 2012 and 2013 respectively, problematic A.I and erratic penalty system.

To the question if Monochroma meets the high expectations raised from the Kickstarter campaign, the answer is no. However, despite the game's mediocrity, there are some glimpses of quality and since it's the studio's first attempt, there could be better results in the future.
