Iridium Runners implements a few very cool gameplay mechanics and is actually worth the price of admission. If it were a penny more, we probably wouldn't recommend it, but given the originality and general entertainment factor, it's worth a look for only twenty bucks.

Mugen Souls Z feels like a rehashed, more tedious version of its predecessor that wasn't really needed.

Akiba's Trip: Undead & Undressed is a strange game that might satisfy the anime faithful. The technical elements are mediocre at best (even worse when compared with the best the PlayStation 4 has to offer), the story is absurd, and the gameplay mechanic is original yet flawed.

Nothing more than an awful game, with horrific visuals, arguably the worst framerate this generation has seen, poor audio, and cookie-cutter gameplay that'll bore you to tears. As a torture device, Blacksite works extremely well, so if you're into masochism, this'll do the trick.

It's easily the worst of the summer trilogy titles (Pirates, Spidey, Shrek), which is sort of apt, seeing as how it was also the worst among the competing trilogy movies. Poor visuals, dated gameplay, and horrible audio really make this one a game to avoid.

Sega hasn't managed to deliver a truly solid title featuring the fleet-footed blue streak in quite some time, and they don't break that unfortunate streak with Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity. C'mon guys, let's ramp up the effort for a video game icon!

"Winning Eleven" is light years ahead of the game in every aspect, and costs the same amount of money. "FIFA" provides a better arcade-like experience and features online play – the only soccer title to do so this year.

Perception has a lot of heart put in to it by the husband and wife team. It really shows in the details in the game. That heart also shows in some parts as being slightly rough around the edges.

It’s sort of like a half-baked idea that had excellent ingredients, but those ingredients weren’t quite assembled correctly and it was removed from the oven too early. And so, the result is sort of edible, but far from tasty.

It's too bad there was never much beyond the most basic of maneuvers, but the fact remains- just about anyone can pick it up and play the whole way through with little difficulty, and still have fun doing it.

Eurocom did make significant strides with Vancouver 2010. But they’ve got to make a few more before we can recommend a purchase of a game based on the Olympics.; not surprisingly, it really is more fun to watch on TV.

If you enjoy the Zatch Bell! TV show and think that a fighting game containing the characters, locations, and stories from the show would be right up your alley, then don't hesitate to pick this one up.

This is the epitome a game that was quickly thrown together with the most basic and juvenile concepts videogaming has.

Run Like Hell doesn’t really fly on the Vita. It just feels too much like a mobile game, you know? There’s not a huge amount of content and what’s there is so basic that you start to lose interest after the first half-hour.

There is definitely a lot of potential behind the series, but Genji is far too broken to be enjoyable. The gameplay lacks flow and fluidity, and begs for Devil May Cry-like speed. Moreover the combat is clunky and just isn't fun.

Entirely unremarkable.

Even though Southpeak has added a bunch of extra content to the PS3 port, at the end of the day it still feels more like a downloadable game that is worth, at most $20.

Warriors Orochi is another fanservice game, plain and simple, and really doesn't appeal to gamers who don't appreciate the "been there, done that" rehash. Because really, despite a few small upgrades, that's all this is.

Avoid this one at all costs, at least until you see it at the bargain bin for $10.

Racing games are supposed to be games of skill, not chance. Sonic Riders, despite all of its shortcuts and power-up items, feels like a game of chance. What's more, it's also a real pain in the ass to play.

Doesn't do much in terms of story, little of what you learn or obtain in terms of skills and tools seems necessary, and the combat is seriously flawed. But beneath that beats the heart of a competent stealth adventure, which is difficult to find these days.

The campaign is just a depressing mix of missed opportunities and one firefight that feels exactly like the one before it. The AI is erratic, the story isn't well presented, and the even the overall design doesn't feel inspired. The general control is reliable and responsive, some parts are quite satisfying, and the multiplayer really is entertaining for long periods of time.

Ratatouille, without any doubt, is far better as a movie, and even big fans of the film probably won't get too much enjoyment out of the game.

A must-have for any old-school wrestling fan. However, if you’re a more recent fan of the WWE, or you’re just a casual fan, there isn’t enough depth to the game, nor is the gameplay solid enough to warrant a purchase.

While a lack of content and online multiplayer bogs it down, this indie succeeds in delivering action-packed matches filled with delights and surprises. When considering its core purpose as a couch-versus revival, PandaBall’s fun factor is as black and white as its featured furry mammals

In the end, the Pirates 3 game comes out being the best of the movie-game trilogies, but that isn't saying much.

Lastly, the time manipulation feature works just fine and makes combat much easier at times, but most players will just abuse the hell out of it due to the inherent challenge.

The game is fun, and it’s even more fun when playing co-op. It has a boatload of charm. The fighting is fast-paced and occasionally rewarding. But where’s the rest of it? Where’s the robust skill set, the varied combat challenges, the compelling story and character development? We’ve come to expect this and we certainly expect it from a new era of gaming.
