The qualities that make Xenoblade Chronicles X such an impressive and unforgettable game are the same things that make it a slog every now and then: its humongous size, dense flora and fauna, and overwhelming depth. All in all, it's easily one of the best role-playing games of 2015.- Power Unlimited

It is evident that Miles Morales was initially meant as DLC, because it has almost exactly the same structure as Marvel’s Spider-Man, The Heist, Turf Wars and Silver Lining. This means that you’ll be going through the familiar motions a bit more and the fun doesn’t last as long as that of the original main game, but it definitely isn’t less intense or spectacular. Maybe the average amount of emotions per minute is even equal to that of Marvel’s Spider-Man, which is a mean feat.- Power Unlimited

Grim Fandango Remastered still feels dated at some points, but the fantastic atmosphere, brilliant cast and its rock solid dialogue will make you accept it.- Power Unlimited

A beautiful setting, convincing characters and a handful of heartwarming and heartbreaking moments make up for the inconsistent story and messy pace of True Colors. Hopefully Deck Nine continues this line, because this is the best Life Is Strange since part 1.- Power Unlimited

Attacking is more fun and spectacular in FIFA 18 and the game offers a huge package which will definitely water your mouth if you're a football fan. That's why it is such a pity defending is less fun and some new features are somewhat unpolished.- Power Unlimited

Super Mario RPG is a perfect remake of the SNES classic with just a few smart improvements. It's amazing how much of the game is still rock solid and it proves once again that Squaresoft was in its golden era at the time. However, the game is too short to belong among the elite Triple-A RPGs these days.- Power Unlimited

FFX is still one of the best oldschool JRPG’s ever made. If you haven’t play this one you should totally pick up this bundle. [Jul 2015, p.067]- Power Unlimited

Ghost of Tsushima is simply a gorgeous looking game, offering a constant supply of pictures that wouldn’t look bad at all adorned on the wall of your tatami room. But underneath all the splendour you’ll find a fairly standard open world game that unavoidably will get repetitive with time, the big difference being that it offers better combat and progression than you’re used to of an Assassin’s Creed.- Power Unlimited

Lara Croft: GO is a game that uses its own limitations for good and doesn’t hold off on vibe and lore. A truly enjoyable puzzle game with a great sense of style. [Oct. 2015, p. 055]- Power Unlimited

The charm of Persona 5 + the demons of Shin Megami Tensei + the intense hack-&-slash-action from mosou = a damned strong sequel. Because against all expectations, that's exactly what Strikers is: Persona 5-2!- Power Unlimited

Nitro Fueled is quite a difficult game with only a few catch-up items, in which you have to powerslide like crazy, curse the AI and the bossbattles. Apart from that it's a cool classic that has had a great nitro-upgrade.- Power Unlimited

Bigby Wolf is the perfect protagonist for this shocking Telltale adventure in the Fables universe, because of the convincing way you can mold him into a good or bad wolf. Too bad the game is lacking in the technical and gameplay department. [Aug 2014, p.63]- Power Unlimited

If you have warm feelings for Disney characters and worlds, this is perhaps the best game ever, but even if you don't have a real connection with The Mouse House, Kingdom Hearts 3 still offers a fantastic action adventure. Took Square 13 years to make this, but it shows.- Power Unlimited

Those who played the PC version of Blackout in the open beta already know that the PC version is not an awkwardly masked port, but a game that has been built entirely from scratch for this platform - from navigation through menu screens and gunplay to customization options that a PC player can expect.- Power Unlimited

Splatoon 3 offers more of the same, but apparently that's enough for tens of hours of fun. I was still a bit hesitant about parts 1 and 2, but now I call myself a Splatoon fan without batting an eyelid. Come, dive in too!- Power Unlimited

Easily the definitive version of the survival-horror classic, Resident Evil Remaster HD is a faithful reworking of the GameCube remake. Perhaps a bit too faithful, with the ever insisting animations of opening doors feeling jarring and obtrusive in this day and age. The new control method, however, does away with the sluggish tank controls and ensures that the very first Resident Evil becomes more streamlined and accessible for a new generation.- Power Unlimited

While Crown of the Old Iron King is a small step backwards in comparison to the previous Dark Souls 2 DLC, it’s still superb. It’s not as dark or filled with poison as Crown of the Sunken King, but fire is the trade-off here. The enemies are not as tough as you're used to, but there are many of them. And it is truly a treat to walk in and around Brume Tower. Crown of the Old Iron King is a must-have for the great 3 to 6 hours you get.- Power Unlimited

I’m absolutely delighted with Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater. This is the more beautiful, modern version of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater that my heart desires. While Delta doesn’t innovate in the way the recent Resident Evil remakes do, that’s understandable given the weight of the original. Another great touch is that purists can dive into the settings to make the game as ‘faithful’ as possible. Unfortunately, a 60 frames-per-second cap on PC is downright absurd, especially since frame drops—though rare—can still occur.- Power Unlimited

Sackboy: A Big Adventure is a successful outing, which with some adjustments in a possible next installment could even be a step in a better direction for the knitted protagonist. Especially in co-op great fun, although unfortunately we still have to wait for online co-op.- Power Unlimited

Project CARS turned out to be an awesome hardcore simulator but the sheer mountain of options and settings might scare off the casual set. The real car freaks won’t mind and are likely to play this one with huge grins on their faces.- Power Unlimited

Stray is a fairly entertaining game that sometimes weakens to slightly boring, and mainly relies on the huggability of its protagonist. If you are not a cat person, then GTFO and subtract twenty points from this figure.- Power Unlimited

Triangle Strategy puts a lot of effort into its story and presentation, but it is fairly standard fantasy that is not well acted. Fortunately, the tactical gameplay, based on Final Fantasy Tactics, is stronger than ever. The ramifications in the story provide new missions and characters, so replaying the campaign is extra fun.- Power Unlimited
