This outing for Naruto still has quite a bit of life left, fighting remains flashy and fun, albeit a bit generic.

While it is unclear who Kingdom Hearts Melody of Memory is truly made for, the hardcore player or the newcomer, the game is undeniably charming. Playing through some of my favourite songs of any video game franchise won't get old any time soon. Meanwhile trying to three-star each level and collect everything to fill up the museum gives players even more reason to replay each song. While Kingdom Hearts Melody of Memory missteps in its delivery, the game's presentation and quality shine enough to overlook some of its shortcomings. I cant wait to see what's next.

Providing an evocative look back at some of history's most visceral pre-modern battles and conflicts, Ancestors Legacy is a superb PS4 RTS that fans of the genre shouldn't miss out on.

There is nothing at all wrong with the core of Super Stardust Ultra. The issue lies with how much remains the same as a title that came out nearly eight years ago while the studio responsible have moved on to bigger and better things.

Moving Out's accomplished blend of pick-up-and-play mechanics mixed with the sincerity in which it delivers its humour and aesthetic make it some of the best local multiplayer fun you’ll have this year.

When people talk about wanting remakes, Fatal Frame 2: Crimson Butterfly Remake is exactly the quality of remake they have in mind. Overall, this is a fantastic way to experience a beloved classic on modern hardware.

Persona 5 Tactica is a formidable offering of a strategy RPG and stands as an extremely approachable yet adequately deep entry point for those who may not have tried the genre before. The story on offer here has an interesting mystery at its core but ultimately stands as another excuse for the Phantom Thieves to come out of retirement for another supernatural mystery. Despite the repetition that can sometimes set in, Persona 5 Tactica is a solidly fun title that manages to seamlessly blend elements of the core franchise into a brand new genre.

It’s still the same old crude, ridiculous, and daft Saints Row The Third as it ever was, complete with many of its original mechanical shortcomings, but the remaster does a wonderful job of making it look better than ever.

Layers of Fear is everything a mature, modern horror game should be. Subtle, smart, unnerving and genuinely intriguing.

When all is said and slaughtered, Age of Zombies is a fun pick-up-and-play arcade title that will occupy your time when you're sitting on the bus waiting to reach your next destination. While it can get tedious in stretches, underneath the repetitive but simple gameplay is buried something of interest: no, not a mindless zombie, but rather pure mindless fun.

Titan Attacks is a fan service to space-invading brethren of old, but strip away the charm and flattery and you are left with an antiquated, short-lived experience that facilitates just a tinge of classic fun.

Lots of depth and replayability, but a few unexpected surprises like unusually poor voice acting dull the shine.

Overall, ChromaGun is a charming puzzle game with all the wits and humour of its bigger ‘stepbrother’, Portal.

Though RNG issues can render it punishing and solo play is not hugely captivating, For The King nonetheless states a decent case for itself as a tactical, fantasy multiplayer board game that everybody can enjoy. Get the snacks in, get the friends in and away you go.

Rune Factory 4 Special offers up a different take on the beloved farm/life sim genre, focusing more on RPG elements. This makes Rune Factory 4 a good entry point for newcomers to the genre due to its ease of entry. At the same time, Rune Factory 4 simplifies a great deal of what makes this genre special. The catch-22 is accessibility versus gameplay depth here. While still a good game in its own right, it limits its own potential by diversifying so vastly.

The Tartarus Key combines thoughtful puzzles, engaging writing, and a compelling setting and melds them together inside a PS1 package. It may not create a great deal of horror, but the writing and suspense keep you moving forward.

Much like the Eldritch horrors that are chronicled in the works of H.P. Lovecraft, Forgive Me Father has seemingly manifested from nowhere. An inventive and hyper violent shooter laced with survival horror and ARPG style progression elements, Forgive Me Father might be less refined than I would like, but all the same I cannot deny just how well the central concept of blowing Lovecraftian horrors apart has been wrought here.

There is a lot to love about Bloomtown: A Different Story. Thanks to the game's fantastic writing and characters, I quickly fell in love with the town and its residents. Its soundtrack is brilliant, and the pixel art style really catches your eye. It's just a shame that some parts of its questing and combat hinder it from truly rising to greatness.

Toukiden: Kiwami is a great port of an already solid game and shines on PS4 with enhanced visuals and all-new content.

Another fine addition to the Alien franchise's video game legacy. Technical troubles and a stiff learning curve can act as a deterrent, but the more time you spend in Aliens Dark Descent's company, the more impressive it becomes.

Resident Evil: Revelations is a superb return to form for the franchise, sadly let down by sluggish character movement and awkward combat.

While not everyone's cup of tea, One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3 is a solid entry into the franchise that fans won't want to miss.

Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock tries to engage players in a quest to reclaim rock, but sadly it reminds us that the genre is only as good as its set list.

Castlevania Requiem brings to modern consoles what made the franchise successful in the first place. Requiem is not perfect and offers little extra in terms of modernization, but it stays true to the original vision.

Dying Light is a really enjoyable game. The atmosphere is absolutely spot on and the game world is a joy to traverse with your parkour skills. It has issues with its mission structure and confusion in the direction of its protagonist, but you’ll likely be having too much fun to care.

Some great tracks, but value is determined by how many of them you've already downloaded.

Where Winds Meet does a lot of great stuff that should be commended for its freedom of choice, characters interaction and fantastic combat. However, it also struggles with its Free-To-Play mechanics, resulting in a grindy and stalled progression system.

Bye Sweet Carole delivers on the promise of a narrative-driven horror experience with the visual inspiration for classic Disney cartoons. Though it succeeds in this endeavor, it falls short of keeping you engaged with frustratingly unresponsive controls and easy stalker encounters.
