The formula that Across the Valley tries to present is a decent one, simple enough to make a decent time. Unfortunately, the lack of polish on top of navigation issues make this game hard to stick with. Even after the first update, it's in a rough place.- PlayStation Universe

A wholly unenjoyable experience, completely devoid of any fun and intrigue. Fishing Sim World couples that gameplay experience with ugly character models and environments, leading to a game that quite literally has nothing going for it.- PlayStation Universe

XIII is a disastrous remake that probably never should have been made. The franchise's cult classic status officially has a major blemish in this remake. It's almost impossible to find anything positive to say about it because every aspect is just so broken and bland. If you want to get into the franchise, read the graphic novel but do yourself a favor and avoid this remake at all costs.- PlayStation Universe

Shellshock 2 will shock you, but for all the wrong reasons. Even if you're a fan of the genre, it's a technically inept and totally unenjoyable experience.- PlayStation Universe

If Crime Boss: Rockay City pulled off even one part of its package, it’d be passable. In reality, it doesn’t do a whole lot of anything right. So we’re left with a lot of wasted potential and a game that is about as pleasant and exciting of an experience as being stuck in a lift with Kevin Sorbo.- PlayStation Universe

Arc of Alchemist is not technically broken, which is the best thing I can say about it. Combining the most basic combat, the most complicated menu system, the weirdest economy, some pretty poor PS2-era graphics, and the densest, most indecipherable tips section, Arc of Alchemist is indeed reminiscent of a work of alchemy – if said alchemist was attempting to turn your valuable time into dust. Avoid at all costs.- PlayStation Universe

For the amount of staff that worked on this game, they do have a good base to work from, but unfortunately there are so many issues that it detracts from being an enjoyable affair. Its sub three-hour gameplay has no replayability at all, and the consistently harsh frame rate dips heavily impact the game.- PlayStation Universe

Zombieland Double Tap Road Trip completely strips away the charm and wit which makes the films so endearing and replaces it with cheesy mind-numbing dialog sprinkled with dull gameplay. It's basically an overpriced two-hour promo for the movie that has very little to offer unless you are a hardcore fan of twin-stick shooters or Abigail Breslin.- PlayStation Universe

If Umbrella Corps was a free-to-play title, it'd probably be a mildly inoffensive novelty, but it's not. It's a costly mess of confused messaging that adds almost nothing (bar a ‘shocking' revelation about an established character that's about as shocking as the Scottish Premier League table) to the Resident Evil universe. The game's lack of quality is almost dwarfed by how utterly pointless it is.- PlayStation Universe

The sort of crushing disappointment that only comes around once in a while, Left Alive feels like an emaciated, innovation bereft meditation on Metal Gear Solid and in matching up so poorly with its inspiration, provides the Front Mission franchise with arguably its weakest entry in years.- PlayStation Universe

Destroy All Humans! 2: Reprobed might be a brutally honest remake of the original game, but that doesn't make it any more pleasant to sit through all its rough parts. Few elements of the core gameplay remain as fun as they were on the PS2, but it's far too shallow to be worth it, especially when it is still riddled with performance issues that can seriously effect your experience.- PlayStation Universe

The side scrolling side of Smelter has a lot going for it. It has a welcome execution that doesn't demand much effort and doesn't bog you down with much, even if it is overly simplistic. The tower defense side of Smelter contradicts this simplicity, however. Bad control choices coupled with halfhearted explanations makes it a hard sell for the entire package. Smelter has something unique, but that's nowhere near enough to warrant your time.- PlayStation Universe

Planet 2000 isn’t just an unexciting and unspectacular vehicular combat game, it’s a poorly-conceived one. It can be offensively bad on certain levels, mostly the ones that see this as a PS4 release in 2017, but for the most part, its biggest crime is that it’s just subpar and boring.- PlayStation Universe

Enchanted Portals takes the foundations of a familiar game in both style and substance, yet fails to provide a compelling experience in either regard. There's clear effort being put into this game in terms of the art and animation, yet the gameplay feels far more unpolished than appearances would have you believe. Random level designs and frustrating enemy placement leads to a game that irritated far more than I would have hoped, with a good amount of my losses not feeling close to my fault.- PlayStation Universe

The only interesting part of Quantum Error is the premise, hinting at some intriguing cosmic horror ideas. Unfortunately, it's buried underneath rubble filled with bad controls, janky performance, and humdrum gameplay. Unless a complete overhaul could be implemented, there's no way a patch could save this game from itself.- PlayStation Universe

A train-wreck spin off of a series that deserved so much better, Fellowship of Evil is an unholy combination of so many undercooked elements that it's any wonder the game made it to release. While Overlord certainly deserves better there is someone else who does too – you. Avoid.- PlayStation Universe

Dawn of Fear tries to bring back the nostalgia of classic survival horror but fails in almost every way. The poor controls lead to most of its problems and a lack of necessary mechanics creates problems that shouldn't exist in this day and age from the simplest of games.- PlayStation Universe

The Plane Effect tries its best to be interesting but unfortunately fails to provide any entertainment value in what's ultimately a pretentious, self-centred affair. Gaming is supposed to be a form of escapism, yet this one simulates the depressing tedium of a 9-5 cubicle job a little too well.- PlayStation Universe

Ultrawings Flat is one of the most repetitive and dull games I have played. Offering up tired and simplistic mini-games, poor controls, and a bland environment it isn't worth taking to the skies, even for just a few minutes, especially given the price charged.- PlayStation Universe

Greyhill incident is an unpleasant and downright laughable attempt at a sci-fi survival horror game. Rancid dialogue, shonky game design, wafer-thin substance, and a complete lack of cohesive storytelling are just the tip of a very large iceberg of problems.- PlayStation Universe

Waves Out! manages to suck all the fun out of its own potentially enjoyable concept of magnetising balls in order to score goals with fiddly play areas, sluggish gameplay and no sense of competition whatsoever. Stir in a missing four player option and some truly dated visuals and you have a recipe for disaster.- PlayStation Universe
