Across the Valley is your friendly farm simulator, developed exclusively for VR.

Lend a hand - literally - so that everything can grow and thrive.

Sow, water and harvest your own plants. Raise adorable baby animals. Milk the cows, shear the sheep and go on a truffle hunt with the pigs - all in fun mini-games.

Instead of clicking around in menus, you care for the animals and plants with your own hands. Instead of looking at your farm from up above, you're right in the middle of it.

Why just watch an avatar pet your animals when you can pet them yourself?

Across the Valley has a lovely hand-drawn art style and some good simplistic gameplay ideas, but its execution isn't up to snuff. It’s wide array of bugs, repetitive gameplay, and lack of content leave this farm without its Push Square or Red Tractor approval.

At the end of the day, Across the Valley is a tech demo to show a newcomer to VR. There is no material for long-term motivation and therefore it is not recommended except as a showcase.

The formula that Across the Valley tries to present is a decent one, simple enough to make a decent time. Unfortunately, the lack of polish on top of navigation issues make this game hard to stick with. Even after the first update, it's in a rough place.
