Act of Aggression is a traditional, acceptable RTS. Nothing more, nothing less. [Oct 2015]- Pelit (Finland)

Legions of Steel does something wrong. I love turn-based tactical games, but this did not connect at any level. Bland graphics, too big levels causing a lot of empty turns, on which move too many units. [Oct 2015]- Pelit (Finland)

STASIS is one of the best point´n click adventures of the year and a solid horror experience. Its take on horror genre – slow-paced but intense 2D sci-fi horror with a claustrophobic atmosphere – is something completely unique. Add to that solid puzzles, good story and and you have gem of a game. A must for both fans of the horror and adventure genres. [Oct 2015]- Pelit (Finland)

In the world of mobile games F2P is the king. Every once in a while you'll be positively surprised, when someone releases a real game, that you can buy with a single purchase. Lara Croft GO is a prime example of a mobile game done right, both in pricing and game design. It utilizes the platform's strong sides instead of being just a forced console port. Tearaway Unfolded is something for the whole family to enjoy. It's a child-friendly action-adventure with fantastic visuals. The game tries to take advantage on DualShock 4's special functions, but as a result, the controls can feel quite clunky at times. [Oct 2015]- Pelit (Finland)

World of Warships follows in the footsteps of the massively successful World of Tanks in converting a slow-paced and complicated form of combat into an easy to approach and entertaining format. Huge ships and the oceanic environments they dwell in simply don't offer quite as much tactical maneuvering possibilities as you get driving tanks and the game doesn't manage the important balancing between skill and randomness quite as well as the Tank Game does, but the special appeal of oceanic titans firing massive broadsides at each other more than makes up for it and the game is certainly off to a promising start. NHL 16 is a marked improvement from last year’s travesty. The on-ice action is smoother than before and many of the modes that were absent last year make a welcome comeback. [Oct 2015]- Pelit (Finland)

One year later Destiny is slowly turning the page from quite good to excellent. While it’s easy to criticize The Taken King for being too expensive for an expansion, it definitely manages to breath some fresh air into the game. Had the original Destiny had the storytelling chops of The Taken King, the game’s reception would’ve probably been much better. [Oct 2015]- Pelit (Finland)

Dishonored: Definitive Edition is (still) a very imaginative and exciting action-adventure. Stealth is rarely this varied and interesting. [Oct 2015]- Pelit (Finland)

There’s no denying the Game of the Year potential of The Phantom Pain. The campaign is absolutely massive, it’s almost too much to cope. That being said, Chapter II is a huge let-down and feels like artificial padding. Still, this is about as good as tactical espionage operations can get in a video game. [Oct 2015]- Pelit (Finland)

Her Story is a game about old computer full of archived videos, secrets and disorder. It is a crime story but as much a romantic dip into the FMV delicacy. [Sept 2015]- Pelit (Finland)

A linear experience gameplay-wise. You make choices, which affect the story, but you have go where the director tells you to. A very pretty, intense, interesting and at times, scary experience nonetheless. [Sept 2015]- Pelit (Finland)

Gears of War is the same hide'n'seek shooter, that we all saw in 2006. If you strip away all the technical awe, you'll have a predictable and quite boring 10 hour romp through grey and brown warzone. [Sept 2015]- Pelit (Finland)

The Magic Circle is one of the most memorable games of the year and a glorious satire of the gaming industry and culture. It also has an extremely creative puzzle mechanic, though the actually puzzles are sadly a bit on the light side. [Sept 2015]- Pelit (Finland)

Takes the puzzle mechanics of the base game to a whole new level and offers an intriguing side story to boot. With Road to Gehenna, The Talos Principle may just have become the best of its genre. [Sept 2015]- Pelit (Finland)

In Heroes of the Storm you play as one of Blizzard's iconic characters from Warcraft, Starcraft and Diablo. At first glance the game looks like a typical 5 vs 5 MOBA, but there are changes that differentiate it from its competitors. The matches are shorter, items have been replaced with talents and all maps have different side objectives. Overall, the changes have made the game more intense and varied. The main thing that I have issues with is the payment model. At first it seems fair and reasonable, but after a while you realize that you have to spend tons of money if you want to unlock all the characters or play the game for a long time. A flawed, but hugely intriguing experiment in interactive storytelling. Despite the somewhat clunky writing and binary choices, what Sunset does in terms of atmosphere, world-building and theming is very much worth exploring. [Sept 2015]- Pelit (Finland)

Deus Ex and Thief reimagined by an one-man team. Neon Struct may have blocky visuals and barren levels, but it's also a highly enjoyable old-school stealth game. A hidden gem. [Sept 2015]- Pelit (Finland)

This ain't an adventure game in a traditional sense, but altogether the first episode of the new King's Quest is a pleasant surprise. It's an action-adventure, but with a high emphasis on a story. Puzzles are easy and sudden deaths won't sneak up on you anymore, but at its core, King's Quest is a new adaptation of Sierra's thesis of bringing faery tales to bits. This is something, that the game achieves with flying colors. Well done, sirs. [Sept 2015]- Pelit (Finland)

Card Hunter is a rare gem among free-to-play-games because its revenue model isn’t an all-consuming behemoth. The tabletop RPG with card battles is an excellent idea, it is a little grindy but at least it has a tiny story too. [Sept 2015]- Pelit (Finland)
