The best Uncharted game and a perfect ending to the saga of Nathan Drake. This is what a farewell should feel like. [June 2016]

This schoolgirl revenge story shows some technical prowess from a small Japanese team. Shame that actually playing it feels like drowning into a pit of tar. [May 2016]

Aaw, Katerina. Heart-warming character design and lightning-fast combat rise the game way above its arena slasher peers. [May 2016]

Like almost any 4x space strategy, hits the mark on some features (combat, some aspects of diplomacy), and misses on others (dull, uncommunicative races, rigid Spaceship Tetris). [May 2016]

You come at the king, you best not miss. Comparing Alekhine’s Gun to an AAA title like Hitman may seem unfair, but Maximum Games made the mistake of trying to defeat the ruler of the genre with its own weapons and they take a beating on every front. [May 2016]

A traditional point & click adventure without the cliches and problems of the genre. The ending feels rushed and the game is overall slightly too easy, but otherwise Shardlight is a treat. [May 2016]

Samorost 3 is stunningly beautiful, classic point & click adventure game. Well-thought puzzles are the icing on this cake. [May 2016]

Star Fox Guard has nothing to do with Star Fox, yet manages to be more fun than this year’s actual Star Fox. Nintendo’s take on tower defence entertains while it lasts. [May 2016]

Star Fox Zero suffers from ambition without a cause. A fun, light space shooter has been crippled by a horrible implementation of gamepad controls. [May 2016]

TrackMania Turbo is an excellent time trial racer with huge amount of exotic tracks and high-flying physics. The local multiplayer options are very good, too. [May 2016]

Addictive RTS fun for both MP and SP skirmish. Looks, sounds and plays like a smooth jazz. The AI is almost a groundbreaking step forward. Borrowed sector based concept from Company Heroes 2 keeps battles tight and thrilling. Bit more meat around the base constructing and Supreme Commander can be blown to ashes. [May 2016]

Stardew Valley is a peaceful farming game with delightful retro graphics, tons of content and very addicting gameplay. In addition to farming, the game also offers various other activities such as fishing, crafting and quest solving. There are also big dungeons to explore and monsters to kill, but these adventure parts of the game feel a bit lackluster. [May 2016]

Beamdog’s expansion embraces both the past and the present. The adventure is inconsistent, ragged and the script could be a lot better, but at its best Siege of Dragonspear captures the essence of Baldur’s Gate - even if fleetingly. [May 2016]

Grim Dawn scratches the right action RPG itch with a plenty of loot to hoard and a decent skill system that offers plenty of options to build the perfect demon-blasting hero. The only problem is the lack of a proper endgame, as the non-randomized maps and locations becoming too familiar too fast. [May 2016]

EA Sports makes its second appearance in the UFC’s famed Octagon. The fighter’s sophomore effort is solid: it has good technique, impresses visually and feels like the real thing, although its ground game could be better. UFC 2 is a contender in the making. [May 2016]

Though both the game's story and the way it is told are not exactly original, exploring the wonderfully immersive sci-fi environments more than make up for it. VR gear or not, Pollen is a captivating experience. [May 2016]

Dark Souls III is like a Greatest Hits collection of the Souls series. Exciting combat, detailed surroundings and active multiplayer combine to make an addicting adventure which only suffers from the odd technical glitch. [May 2016]

Eterium is a lovingly made tribute to Wing Commander. The combat itself is kind of fun fast paced action, but the audiovisual side is mostly so bad that it really detracts from the experience – and I still think that the original Wing Commander looks kind of nice. [Apr 2016]
