Loses in almost every aspect to old Combat Mission 2. Having a campaign mode does not cure the general mediocrity and the irritating UI deficiencies. [Sept 2006]- Pelit (Finland)

A massive MMORPG that provides players the chance to really make a difference. Great game for those who have the time and energy, though the action gets a bit repetitive at times. [Aug 2007]- Pelit (Finland)

An excellent historical strategy game and very addictive. Graphics are still awful; add-on only is more like a commercial update. [Nov 2007]- Pelit (Finland)

Day Watch should have been a no-brainer: just do another game like Night Watch. But for some reason things have gone downhill. There is too little action and too many boring cutscenes. You are forced to play as a next-to-useless witch. And the list goes on and on. [Aug 2007]- Pelit (Finland)

A deep and fun strategy game that shines in multiplayer. The only problem is that Commander feels very much like Strategic Command, but it is not quite as good. [Oct 2007]- Pelit (Finland)

Needs rethinking of basics. To begin with, US vs Syria is just not interesting. Secondly, gamewise it is only highly irritating when game needs heavy micromanaging, but while you do that, other troops just die silently and if you blink, you might miss the tank that killed them. How about some user friendliness? [Jan 2009]- Pelit (Finland)

Nice addon for a really great game. Add decent diplomacy (with chrome for immersion. Superpowers do not negotiate with SMS-messsages) and Master of Orion is finally beaten.- Pelit (Finland)

A quite good tower defence game. It gets the job done, but there's nothing too special. Try Fieldrunners first. [Feb 2010]- Pelit (Finland)

Zumba Fitness is zumba training with a virtual coach. Nothing more, nothing less. Needs better training modes and flash cards for next dance move. [May 2011]- Pelit (Finland)

Descend RGP has a nice old school dungeon crawler feel to it, but the challenges come from all the wrong places: the hunger, the lack of healing and the endless stream of random encounters. Should the developer ever decide to patch up the game balance, Descend would definitely warrant a second look. [Nov 2011]- Pelit (Finland)

Starbase Orion is a close-to-perfect rendition of the classic Master of Orion. For an old MOO fan it's easy to fall in love with the appealing visuals and excellent touch UI. There are some failures though, namely the lack of diplomacy, tactical combat and challenge from the AI races. [Nov 2011]- Pelit (Finland)

An intense and delightfully brutal co-op mode to a somewhat mediocre single player game. Success requires actual teamwork and occasionally even some planning, so it's not just mindless gunblazing. Also, the leveling system is a nice incentive to keep playing, although it could use more rewards such as a larger variety of weaponry. [Jan 2012]- Pelit (Finland)

A fast, original and very clever turn-based tactical combat game, which is a kind of modern version of Battleships. [Oct 2012]- Pelit (Finland)

A DLC add-on for Frozen Synapse, a very entertaining, fast-paced and tactical game. For the most part, the additions are well thought out and enhance the gaming experience. [Aug 2012]- Pelit (Finland)

Tigris & Euphrates is a simple, yet surprisingly deep and tactically challenging strategy game. The original board game has been nicely translated. [June 2013]- Pelit (Finland)

Come on, let the dead rest in peace. This utterly pointless, crappy beat-'em-up, should never have seen the light of day. The game tries to bring Konami's 8-bit games into this millennia, but the result is a complete failure. [Oct 2013]- Pelit (Finland)

Dominions 4 is a turn-based strategy game set in a non-traditional fantasy world filled with various nations inspired by mythology and religion. As a player you first pick a nation and then customize your god. Then you just need to wipe out all the other factions and their false gods. Isn't that simple? The game really shines in multiplayer mode because fighting against real humans feels much better than dealing with AI factions that can't even use diplomacy. The best thing about Dominions 4 is the fact that it has tons of depth and replayability but it's a shame that the graphics and user interface are outdated. Well, I guess you can't have everything. Total War: Rome 2 : Hannibal at the Gates Second Punic war is an excellent theme for a DLC. The conflict is a reasonable small-scaled but still Carthage acts as a strong counterforce against Rome. [May 2014]- Pelit (Finland)

Wazhack transfers NetHack to a new perspective and succeeds! Except for garish graphics, even oh so trendy 16-bit retro graphics would work better. [Apr 2014]- Pelit (Finland)

There's nothing original about Lords of Shadow 2. It borrows heavily from God of War and doesn't come to close in matching it. However it still doesn't meant that Castlevania isn't a decent game and pretty good entertainment. The action is solid and the ability to explore freely is a good addition. Luxuria Superbia is not a particularly deep or satisfying experience, but the idea of an abstract, yet whimsical sex game is superb. Even if it's not something you'll play for very long, it's worth it for the emotions and thoughts it will stir in you. [Feb 2014]- Pelit (Finland)

If urban infantry combat with very limited access to vehicles is your thing, you can't go wrong with the Dragon's Teeth map pack. The four new maps are all solid with the superb "Propaganda" having all the trappings of a new fan-favourite. [Sept 2014]- Pelit (Finland)

This clever - if somewhat amateurish - mod replaces the famous portal gun with a gel gun. Still it's not clever enough as bouncing around with the gels can't compete with the variety the portals had. [Sept 2014]- Pelit (Finland)
