Technically sound, but the gameplay is way too easy and unimaginative. [May 2011]

A pretty and entertaining action adventure. Too bad it's targeted for casual gamers – it's too easy and/or short for anybody else. [July 2009]

A decent shoot 'em up. A greater amount of run-of-the-mill enemies would have been a better choice. There are also some laughable AI issues with the big enemies. [Apr 2007]

Hard to be a God is very hardcore old school rpg that has its moments. Mounted combat is fun, but normal combat is frustratingly difficult. The bad Borat-style translation makes for some hilarious moments but slows down the narrative at the same time. [Mar 2008]

A very good Trials-game, when it sticks to driving. The completely unnecessary platforming sections are simply dull. [Aug 2016]

Lionhead's attempt to make the Fable franchise accessible to younger generations doesn't hit the goal spot on. Clunky controls, boring combat and a character system that solely relies on luck aren't the best building blocks for a game for kids. If a parent take's part as an wingman, Fable Heroes offers relatively good fun for couple of hours. [June 2012]

Iron Front – Liberation 1944 will be a new, evolving paint canvas for the multiplayer Arma-crowd. For other gamers it is mostly a confusing mess. [June 2012]

It really, really pisses me off, that I need Wii controllers to play a Wii U game. This right here is a true ass-fruit of a game design, where a four year old game has been ported to a new console generation nearly the way it was back then. [Jan 2014]

I liked the first Medal of Honor, but this is a very average military shooter. The game's feel of authenticity is lost, missions are shooting from a cover with a handful of door breaches, and missions just go on and on and on. And the family aspect... [Nov 2012]

The Lord of the Rings: Conquest has some good movielike moments but overall suffers from a boring and difficult single player mode and lousy controls on the PC. The multiplayer is decent enough if you're into epic but rather simple fantasy action. [Feb 2009]

Kingdom Under Fire: Circle of Doom is a simple, straight-forward fantasy themed action-RPG. That can be a both good and a bad thing, depending what you're looking for. It's nonetheless very pretty. [Mar 2008]

Homefront: The Revolution shows great promise early on just to fall short with the execution. Clichéd story, repetitive gameplay, horrible AI and terrible optimization really kills it for me. Which is a shame, because at times I really enjoyed the game. 6-12 months on the drawing board would have made huge difference. [June/July 2016]

Jane Jensen's newest delivers a deep and compelling storyline, which yet again combines fact with fiction in intriguing ways. Although the script is solid, same can't be said of the technical execution of the game. Buggy graphics and especially lazy puzzle design make Moebius the worst adventure game Jensen's made. It's not a bad game, but it's not something you'd expect from one of the best scriptwriter of the industry. [June 2014]

Knack isn't a bad combat platformer, it's just mediocre. It's a kind of God of War for casual players and the fighting works actually quite well. Some boring factory levels should have been cut, though. [Jan 2014]

Fret Nice's downfall is that it forces the player to repeat the same few levels far too many times. The game does have some fresh ideas and its art style is very charming, but the cons nevertheless outweigh the pros. Also, the guitar controls are horrible. [May 2010]

Hearthfire is a cosmetic add-on that enables you to build three houses and adopt children. Although relatively cheap (400 MSP), there is no story to speak of and the house building options are very limited. [Oct 2012]

An interesting take on fantasy in modern surroundings. The old Silent Storm engine works great once again, but the game is a bit too streamlined and simple. Good fun for one play-through, nonetheless. [Sept 2006]

A point 'n' click adventure with fresh ideas and a good storyline. However, the game is full of stupid problems, like stick hunting, and the voice actors are quite bad. [Feb. 05]

A prime example of a gamified action film from the eighties. The story is only an excuse for bloodshed and the game is far from unconventional. Yes, I've seen this before at least dozens of times, but then again, there's always room for some good old-fashioned pointless violence. [May 2013]

This sure ain't no Max Payne or Doom. The first Iranian commercial game is a noble effort in the field of FPS games, but it unfortunately falls short in almost every aspect. The best way to describe the game is mediocre. [June/July 2016]

Strategic part is about as exiting as Excel, but that's what you get when you have no enemies and no fear of losing. The idea on turn-based combat is to create a system of many variables, not a turn based version of simplistic real time battle. The new XCOM got it wrong, too, so please copy the old masters, don't please the simpletons. [March 2013]

A decent adventure with interesting themes and puzzles. Too bad the combat and stealth sections are not up to par. Choosing the easiest battle difficulty lets the puzzles take the centre stage – as they should. [June 2006]

Carmageddon is back with a crash. Reincarnation offers little new in terms of gameplay if you have played the first two Carmageddon games, and is riddled with technical problems, but Reincarnation still has its moments after all these years. A solid, gore-filled and violent racer. [June 2015]
