Pretty much a carbon copy of Dead Island, which is OK as it's a direct continuation. But the game feels much, much easier with less zombies. Still fun, but next time go for gold. [May 2013]- Pelit (Finland)

Brings back some fond memories. Some of the games have aged well (Galaxian, Galaga), some have not (Pole Position). Why are there only a dozen games? [Jan 2006]- Pelit (Finland)

No Man's Sky breaks the record in falling short of the hype – which is an incredible achievement in the category of super ambitious space games. The huge universe is a repetitive, lifeless and meaningless place, no amount of random generated creatures can change that. The most unforgivable fail is making the spaceship such a pain to fly, which makes exploring the vast universe simply a chore. However, at its best the game is epic and many of the issues should be easy to fix, so this might not be the end of the journey after all. [Sept 2016]- Pelit (Finland)

An average and slightly dated shooter with an interesting background story. [May. 05]- Pelit (Finland)

Evoland is a frustrating affair. Its premise is great and it has potential to spare, but instead of an inspired retro journey all you get is a combination of lazy jokes, bland Zelda-esque gameplay and numbingly tedious JRPG battles. [June 2013]- Pelit (Finland)

Infernal borrows a lot ideas from classic action adventures like "Deus Ex," but manages to stand on its own two feet. Awesome graphics, brisk action and realistic environments make Infernal well worth a try. [Apr 2007]- Pelit (Finland)

If you don't generate monkey rage over non-essential side details, basic gameplay in Velvet Assassin is quite good and setting are sometimes great. For some reason, linear on-rick pony gameplay is not a bad thing in games like Gears of War or Call of Duty. [July 2009]- Pelit (Finland)

Entertaining but much too short. The camera angles are awful and the action itself is a little too hectic. Duels, however, are nicely done. [July 05]- Pelit (Finland)

This game itself is a Fable. It's a tall tale about functioning controls. The Kinect isn't a proper tool for controlling fast paced role-playing action. Half the time the controls are somewhat functioning, the other half the game doesn't do anything the way it's supposed to. Nice storyline makes me hope for a happy ending. Maybe the next Fable will return to the conventional methods of controlling the character. [Nov 2012]- Pelit (Finland)

Motion is surprisingly good party game. Besides shaking, Nintendo has invented other uses for wiimote. This is harmless casual fun, which can be used to replace board games or extremely dull holiday photograph marathon. [Aug 2011]- Pelit (Finland)

Brian Fargo's new pet project turned out to be a cross-breed of Gears of War and God of War. Medieval co-op experience is somewhat nice snack between larger meals. The team has worked in haste, which can be seen in almost every aspect. There's a lot of potential, which has been sadly wasted. [Aug 2011]- Pelit (Finland)

The card game takes one step forward and two steps backwards. Free deckbuilding is a big plus, but when you consider that the play modes from old Duels are cut completely and some of the card pool available is behind an IAP paywall, the new Duels doesn't compare well against other, cheaper, slicker and - quite frankly - more fun competition like Hearthstone. Duels is simple not on par with the competition. [Sept 2014]- Pelit (Finland)

A step backwards even from its mediocre predecessor. With the multitude of ugly bugs the game feels unfinished, and the driving model is just plain awful. [Jan 2006]- Pelit (Finland)

Jungles of Pandora offer a nice setting for an action game, but unfortunately the game itself fails to deliver. The mission structure is stolen from MMOs, the storyline devolves to preaching and the game is very easy. The graphics are beautiful and there would have been a lot of potential, considering the PR. Now the game is nothing more than an average license product. And that is a shame. [Jan 2010]- Pelit (Finland)

Defiance is essentially a single player shooter, that has been retrofitted to an MMOFPS. The multiplayer component doesn't really add anything to the game, if you don't count some random back-up crews as such. [Aug 2013]- Pelit (Finland)

Beneath the Ashes is short, but well paced mini-larathon which offers nothing really new. Lara’s Shadow is a little bit interesting case, but messing with deadly blue liquid is really frustrating. There are also annoying level re-runs, but generally both adventures offers sturdy but brief Tomb Raider experience. [May 2009]- Pelit (Finland)

Create strives hard to be a worthy spiritual successor to The Incredible Machine, but falls somewhat short. For the most part, the puzzles just aren't creative or clever enough to be much fun and the presentation is outright boring. [May 2011]- Pelit (Finland)

A decent enough Track'n Field -clone. It looks nice and there's a lot of events. Too bad there's way too much waiting on one at a time -multiplayer events. [Aug 2008]- Pelit (Finland)

You have to give credit to Ubisoft for being original with the Wii game. They haven't ported the bigger version to moderate platform by force. The sneaking is fun and the game truly has it's moments. The script and the main character are stupid and the game is easy as a walk in the park. Where's the ambition? [Jan 2010]- Pelit (Finland)

A game like no other and a surprise release to see outside of Japan. It is a mixture of a 2D shoot 'em up and a fighting game with mechas. The fighting system is complex, but once the initial confusion wears off real depth is found. Two player games are great fun. [Oct 2007]- Pelit (Finland)

Even worse than the mediocre White Knight Chronicles. Cheap game play decisions, such as monotonic environments and repeated use of settings from the original really make me want to stay far away from this one. [Aug 2011]- Pelit (Finland)

Il-2 Cliffs of Dover is full of hidden potential, but due to a disastrous amount of bugs, design decisions and totally unfinished features it remains well hidden. The project failed to deliver on the promises and was finally abandoned – but not by modders. And that, my friends, is why this could still become someone's finest hour. [Dec 2013]- Pelit (Finland)
