An entertaining golf game, which can't quite decide whether its focus is Mario or golf. [June 2014]

A Lemmings clone that focuses on style at the expense of substance. Still fun and captivating, but too limited in the gameplay department. [Dec 2009]

Commandos Strike Force sounds at first like sacrilege, but surprisingly, it remembers its roots. The mix of stealth and action works well and the pacing is good. The game is a fun, basic stealth shooter, nothing more, nothing less. [May 2006]

Still a great and a highly amusing bemani game. In fact, it pretty much created the genre we know today. A living legend. [Sept 2007]

Lumo is a neo-retro game done right: Tough as nails, but at the same time addicting. No matter how many times the main character kicks the bucket, you'll be ready for rematch. If the equipment survived the tantrums that the game regularly provides. [Aug 2016]

A fun and easy-to-play sports game for the whole family. You can feel and see the Nintendo touch everywhere. What a nice experience. [Nov 2005]

Proves itself as yet another entertaining instalment of the ever continuing series. All the elements that first made the series great are still there, but the new simplistic visual style with its knee-high camera and the downright ugly surroundings do put a damper on the mood. [Dec 2007]

A polished Breakout-clone with very interesting gravitation effects. It's a bit too easy, though - there's too many extra lives. [Dec 2009]

Endless Legends: Guardians surprises with good campaign narrative and good design, except for battle system, which is too simplistic and boring. [Aug 2015]

Apotheon's visual style is absolutely gorgeous and the mythological elements are well integrated into both level and boss design. What keeps the game from ascending to Olympus is the somewhat flawed combat. [March 2015]

Need for Speed Carbon has fast and furious races. Tuning is fun, but it does not have much of an effect on racing. [Dec 2006, p.82]

A highly addictive golf experience with an interesting and wide career mode. However, the game feels exactly the same as last year´s version. [Oct 2007]

Good old fashioned western shooter with an excellent story. Too bad you get to spend so little time with the two rough main characters. Coop play would have been nice as the game feels like designed for it. [July 2009]

A decent shooter with a vampire-western theme. More Sergio Leone and "Halo," less "Serious Sam" and techno-steam-punk-funk, and it would have been even better. [Oct 2005]

Everybody knows that the prequel episodes of Star Wars are diarrhea, but Rovio's vision isn't bird poop. The game let's you play as the imperial pigs or the birds of the old republic and the level design is puzzle-based. Bird Wars works like a charm! [Nov 2013]

As the Japanese survival horror genre goes, The Evil Within feels a bit old fashion but in a good way. It certainly has the potential of becoming a cult classic. [Nov 2014]

Indiana Jones and the Lego license blend in quite nicely. If you put aside the infuriating driving sequences, the second block-Indy delivers a fast paced action package, which actually requires some thinking.

If you have beer and if you have friends, this game is good fun for the weekend. For those who are flying solo, wrestling might get boring pretty fast. The computer isn't that tough for an opponent and the controls are a bit sloppy. [Mar 2009]

The handling of source material is excellent: plot, sound acting, characters, Secret Origins and all. Sadly, the game is pretty generic, and the lack of friendly AI makes the real-time gaming tedious. [May 05]

Rise of the Triad is a faithful tribute to both the original game and to the FPS games of the nineties in general. Hopefully the technical issues will be patched out soon, though. [Nov 2013]

This game is the opposite of modern FPS. Enemies attack in hordes and the levels are labyrinths. Serious Sam 3: BFE is a game from 90's made with the tools of the 21st century. [March 2012]

Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time is a competent platform adventure, which uses time travel only as an excuse for wildly different levels. Yes, the levels are different, but not very original.
