Gothic horror with a beautiful, strange setting and a strong embedded story. Linear, with a lot of hidden details. [May 2016]- Pelit (Finland)

An intense experience. ZombiU delivers one of the most intense experiences in recent history. Moody, violent and suitably tough, it managed to keep me playing long into the night. [Jan 2013]- Pelit (Finland)

Aaw, Katerina. Heart-warming character design and lightning-fast combat rise the game way above its arena slasher peers. [May 2016]- Pelit (Finland)

A really good FPS, which borrows interesting elements from GTA-style sandboxes. The weapons, veil-abilities and enemies are excellent. The multiplayer-experience is nothing special, though. [Aug 2009]- Pelit (Finland)

Makai Kingdom: Chronicles of the Sacred Tome does not bring new innovations to the genre but is nevertheless a great strategic RPG with deep and addictive gameplay and lots of hilarious characters. [Dec 2005]- Pelit (Finland)

Guild Wars: Factions expands the original game with a new, fresh-looking Oriental-style campaign and new play modes for PvP. Its greatest asset is still the lack of monthly fees, but it is also a good MMORPG with lots of PvP content and a fantastic skill system. [June 2006]- Pelit (Finland)

An enjoyable rugby game. Tutorial and practice mode are helpful for beginners, but scrums, rucks and mauls are still pretty hard to play. Passing game is done extremely well. [Feb 2006]- Pelit (Finland)

The Boshin War marked the end of one era in Japan's history. The civil war, fought from 1868 to 1869 between forces of the Tokugawa shogunate and the Imperial troops, provides an excellent basis for a Total War game. Caught between the crossfire of different factions, Western influences and rapid technological development, Japan was reshaped. Fall of the Samurai draws successfully from this interesting setting. The battles are as massive and tactical as ever and conquering Japan province by province is immensely satisfying despite the familiar feeling of the game. [Apr 2012]- Pelit (Finland)

Minecraft: Wii U Edition is, well, Minecraft. But. It doesn't support old Wii controllers and the Game Pad -integration could be better, like own screen for a second player and a touchscreen inventory. [Feb 2016]- Pelit (Finland)

A very pretty action-adventure, which shows nicely, what Vita can do. There's too much generic shooting at the end, though. [Apr 2012]- Pelit (Finland)

An expansion pack to the original game that adds many improvements such as better graphics, new quests and of course multiplayer which is the biggest new feature. The multiplayer supports up to 64 players in various game modes, from simple deathmatch to more complex siege mode, and it's very enjoyable. The singleplayer mode doesn't feel as finished as the multiplayer because it still has some bugs and unfinished features. It also doesn't have enough new content which is why it resembles the original Mount & Blade too much. [June 2010]- Pelit (Finland)

Rise of the Tomb Raider is a solid action adventure with spectacular visuals and well-defined game mechanics. Sadly the same can't be said about the story. It seems like it was written by a six year-old Indiana Jones fan, who just got done reading The Da Vinci Code. [Dec 2015]- Pelit (Finland)

After over ten years of waiting, Age of Decadence has finally been released. For the most part, the game lives up to the expectations because it is a really well-made role-playing game that takes place in a world similar to our Ancient Rome. What I really liked were the turn-based battles and quests with multiple solutions. The replay value is also very high but the outdated graphics and interface bring the score down. Watch Dogs has dull characters spewing agonizing dialogue, but gameplay-wise it gets most of its ingredients right. Even the simplified hacking feels like something new. [June 2014]- Pelit (Finland)

The idea of mixing elements of role playing games and first person shooters with Diablo style item hunting might seem absurd at first, but Borderlands proves that such unique combination can actually work. The two DLC packs, The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned and Mad Maxxi’s Underdome Riot, expand the Borderlands experience further, but in their own different ways. The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned is a story-driven adventure that, as the name suggests, involves a lot of zombie shooting, whereas Mad Moxxi’s Underdome Riot concentrates on multiplayer and arena battles. Both are good in their own right, but Ned’s Zombie Island offers more fun moments and bang for your buck. [Feb 2010]- Pelit (Finland)

Fun while it lasts. The game mechanics are simple, but they work well. It is a shame there is no multiplayer option and that the game does not last very long. Still, one of the best light war games on the GameCube. [Dec 2005]- Pelit (Finland)

Dirt Rally delivers the most solid experience audio-visually and driving wise to the rally genre. Still, road surfaces and physics could be refined further, and we really need more rallies. [March 2016]- Pelit (Finland)

As an expansion, The Ardennes Offensive feels a bit expensive for what it is. The campaign missions are well designed, though, and increasing the importance of the individual soldiers is a great addition to the game mechanics. [Jan 2015]- Pelit (Finland)

An original superhero MMORPG that has excellent character creation and a well-designed world. Gameplay is quite combat-intensive and the game lacks sufficient content to stay interesting for longer periods of time. [Feb. 05]- Pelit (Finland)

Real history can be a bit boring, so that's probably why Sunless Sea is set in an alternate world of 19th century where the city of London was transported underground by bats. The player is a steamship captain who must explore the vast underground sea, battle monsters and solve different types of quests. The writing and the atmosphere in the game is excellent, which is why I was really drawn into the events that were happening. It's a shame that the combat mechanics are oversimplified and simply not fun. The game is also too difficult for beginners. [May 2015]- Pelit (Finland)

Plays like a John Woo movie. Although ”tequila time” is nothing new, it is still a great effect. Gameplay is solid and everything runs smoothly. Action tends to get a bit repetitive towards the end, however. [Oct 2007]- Pelit (Finland)

A quality expansion pack. The random map generator is well complemented by three campaigns and scenarios, not to mention the finally-working scenario editor. [Jan 2007]- Pelit (Finland)
