A short and sweet platformer with fantastic visuals, art direction and music. The combat system is a bit dull, so it's fortunate that the player isn't stuck with it for more than the duration of the 5 to 7 hour playthrough. [June 2014]

A bizarre mix of serious topics and Tarantino-esque ultra-violence. For the first half the fast and furious shoot-outs are about as entertaining as first person shooters can get. Unfortunately, once the nazi-ranks start to fill up with bullet-sponge-y robots and cyborgs, the game quickly starts to lose it's appeal. Wolfenstein goes from being as fun as Doom to being as tedious as Doom 3. What a shame! [June 2014]

Easily the best Yoshi game in years. Woolly World is hardly innovative, but its design is consistently clever and the visual style works amazingly well. [Aug 2015]

Mega Man's latest adventure is more than just the same. The feel and heart of the game put it right there next to the classics from the 80s. [Apr 2010]

Moai Better Blues is, as we’ve learnt to expect, a funny and witty Sam&Max adventure. The total change of environment makes the gameplay refreshing. The game’s not flawless, though. Some of the sidecharacters are a little bit boring and some of the jokes don’t hit the spot at all. But fear not, the game is still really enjoyable. [Feb 2008]

Finally, decent use for a classic controller. There is really nothing new, but everything works smoothly just like a train's toilet. Galaxies is also the most deepest and richest Geometry Wars experience made so far. [Mar 2008]

A beautiful action-platformer. It’s short and sweet but the game feels bigger than it actually is. [Aug 2016]

A beautiful beat 'em up adventure. The simple counter system is a nice idea. A bit short and easy, though. [Dec 2005]

A very pretty platform adventure with highly entertaining combat. Clank's simple time related problems are a nice diversion. [Dec 2009]

Sengoku Jidai: Shadow of the Shogun continues from where Pike and Shot: Campaigns left off, introducing a rarely visited setting of feudal Japan, including battles in the Korean peninsula. The simple, but robust turn-based game mechanics, along with appealing visuals make the battlefield shine, but the thin campaign layer leaves a lot to desire. [Aug 2016]

Combines two genres successfully into one and creates something new in the process. Slight repetitiveness aside, the game is challenging and a whole lot of fun. [June 2009]

The old king of rally is back. Who needs realism when the cars are this fun to drive and the world is so wonderfully vivid? What the game could have used is more variety in its tracks – and more tracks. [Oct 2007]

An enjoyable rugby game. Tutorial and practice mode are helpful for beginners, but scrums, rucks and mauls are still pretty hard to play. Passing game is done extremely well. [Feb 2006]

Mad Max brought to MMORPG world, finally! Too bad that action-packed fighting is almost the only thing the excellent setting is used for, at least for now. Luckily the action is all good and enjoyable. [Apr 2006]

Good enhanced remake of the DS classic that manages to make full use of the wii-mote. The only downside is the lame audiovisual approach. [Sept 2007]

A nice romance and party oriented add-on for The Sims 2. Does not add to the basic concept as much as University did, but at least it gives a lot of new things to do with your little computer people. [Sept. 05]

The new Metal Gear Online is a satisfying online romp based on the singularly best game mechanics the MGS series has ever seen, as experienced in MGS5. One only wishes to see the same level of variation in maps and game modes as in the extensive character customization. [Nov 2015]

The best Star Wars strategy ever, which, actually, is not much of a merit. Thanks to the strategic metagame and the good space battles, it is also a lot of fun. The ground battles are only so-so, but they are also short enough. Good job! [Mar 2006]

A quality title that mixes platforming and puzzle elements while injecting new life into both with its liquid physics and Fluros. It's not quite Braid or Limbo, but it's good nonetheless. [Sept 2012]
