Red Steel 2 is a very good FPS-esque action game with heavy emphasis on swordplay. The cartoon graphics are excellent and the MotionPlus-sword works really well. [Apr 2010]- Pelit (Finland)

Multiplayer mode needs some redesigning, too, but otherwise the package is pretty darn impressive. [Oct 2006]- Pelit (Finland)

While on the surface the game is easy to dismiss as a yet another old-school platformer, Shovel Knight is anything but. [Aug 2014]- Pelit (Finland)

Transistor is an atmospheric and action-packed sci-fi RPG with excellent combat mechanics and deep customization options. The top-notch audiovisuals are complemented with a gripping storyline. Overall, Transistor is an excellent role-playing adventure. I sincerely hope, that other game companies are smart enough to copy the smartest ideas from this indie pearl. [Aug 2014]- Pelit (Finland)

The game is even better than the Bill Willingham's original graphic novel series. The Wolf Among Us is a showcase of first class storytelling. [Aug 2014]- Pelit (Finland)

Valve hits gold again and turns zombie apocalypse into year’s best co-op-shooter. The tank doesn’t really fit the game, otherwise it’s a winner. [Jan 2009]- Pelit (Finland)

Dual Strike has a very simple set of rules, which means the game is fast and addictive. Some AI would be nice, though. [Oct 2005]- Pelit (Finland)

A fresh and novel take on the runner genre. Instead of magical reflexes, you need to the rattle the ol' brain box to progress through the ever-darkening day. [Apr 2013]- Pelit (Finland)

The best PSP game in a while. Drumming and chaining your attack, defence, advance and retreat commands is fun and intense. Wonderfully animated and stylish graphics with cheery songs create a great atmosphere and building and improving your troops adds depth to the game. Some of the missions could have used more variety when it comes to the needed tactics. [Apr 2008]- Pelit (Finland)

As fascinating as ever with new and improved possibilities. Is it a good thing or a bad thing that Sims' lives tend to get more exciting and interesting than your own? [Nov 2005]- Pelit (Finland)

The game itself is quite simple and short, but the story folds out in a great way. One of the best games of 2005 so far. [Sept. 05]- Pelit (Finland)

A prime example of a product that's been designed for the old-timers that have grown up playing adventure games from LucasArts and Sierra. It's an excellent tribute to the former giants of the adventure game industry. [Apr 2013]- Pelit (Finland)

Dariusburst Chronicle Saviours is a traditional and pretty shoot ‘em up with huge amount of levels, really wide screen and 4-player multiplayer mode. [Apr 2016]- Pelit (Finland)

This mix'n'match of brands is by far the best adaptation of Angry Birds. It combines all the best sides of the game series and throws in a really nice set of characters. The force is strong in this one. [Dec 2012]- Pelit (Finland)

One of the few Xbox 360 launch titles that actually has the next generation look. While the game is a bit too short, the undeniably brutal action and the great atmosphere make it a winner. [Jan 2006]- Pelit (Finland)

The 3DS version's new features aren't essential, but luckily the original game still is. It's not a perfect port, but Returns 3D is nevertheless an excellent and polished platformer. [June 2013]- Pelit (Finland)

Hotline Miami is a gem of a game. It has satisfying gameplay, an atmosphere that is both disturbing and gripping, and it provokes thoughts like no other game this year. What more could you want? [Dec 2012]- Pelit (Finland)

A very good racing game, which feels suitably realistic. Not too real, though, that would be undriveable. The career mode is a bit dull, since cars are practically given, not bought. [Mar 2009]- Pelit (Finland)

Rock Band Unplugged proves that music games can work surprisingly well on handheld consoles, too. The Amplitude-like gameplay works great and the song selection is good. A game worthy of the Rock Band name.- Pelit (Finland)
