Mirror’s Edge works like a charm with keyboard and mouse, too. Parkour above a shining beautiful city is a nice change of pace after normal shooters. Hopefully we get to see more games like this in the future. [Jan 2009]- Pelit (Finland)

Don't like forced humor and bright colors, but do like everything else. Especially Spitter. [Dec 2009]- Pelit (Finland)

The ultimate Monster Hunter is really what Wii U needed right now. It may not be the prettiest game on the block, but damn if it isn't the most addictive. When the clock is 3 am, and you're wondering whether you should do another hour long hunt, you know you're hooked. [Apr 2013]- Pelit (Finland)

Mark of the Ninja is an excellent 2D-platformer, which cleverly combines stealth with explosive action. The striking visual style is also worth a mention. [Dec 2012]- Pelit (Finland)

There’s no denying the Game of the Year potential of The Phantom Pain. The campaign is absolutely massive, it’s almost too much to cope. That being said, Chapter II is a huge let-down and feels like artificial padding. Still, this is about as good as tactical espionage operations can get in a video game. [Oct 2015]- Pelit (Finland)

A military shooter of the highest calibre. Mexico City is one of the most amazing environments seen in video games thus far. [Mar 2006]- Pelit (Finland)

An overall improvement over Phantom Hourglass, Spirit Tracks proves itself to be one of the best games on DS. [Jan 2010]- Pelit (Finland)

Animal Crossing: New Leaf is excellent for meditation, coffee breaks, grinding, goofing around, self-expression and, naturally, having loads of fun. [Aug 2013]- Pelit (Finland)

Dark Souls 2 respects gamers: it does not treat them like clueless, spoiled brogamerz, and that is something every publisher could learn from. [May 2014]- Pelit (Finland)

An excellent puzzler in the vein of old-school point'n'click-adventures. You need both brains and braw to complete this one. [Feb 2008]- Pelit (Finland)

An excellent action-adventure. Not perfect, however. It is basically more of the same and the ridiculous trap tunnels are anything but believable. And where is the widescreen support? [Dec 2005]- Pelit (Finland)

TrackMania Turbo is an excellent time trial racer with huge amount of exotic tracks and high-flying physics. The local multiplayer options are very good, too. [May 2016]- Pelit (Finland)

Vampyre Story is hilarious and witty point'n click adventure game with striking graphics and high quality voice acting. If you're looking for hard puzzles, maybe this isn't the game. But if you're looking for a strong adventure with a good plot and good characters Vampyre Story is an excellent choice. It's probably the best adventure of 2008. [Jan 2009]- Pelit (Finland)

An excellent arcade fighting game, which beefs up the fighter roster of SFIV and makes several small improvements over it. [May 2010]- Pelit (Finland)

An excellent, addictive historical strategy game. The awful graphics and the wandering enemy units are minor flaws. [Feb 2007]- Pelit (Finland)

The Sims 3 delivers most of its promises. Modeling an entire small town works extremely well, and even though many features from previous installments will be available only in later add-ons, there's still a ridiculous amount of stuff to do. Technically it's pretty awesome as well. [June 2009]- Pelit (Finland)

Doesn’t deserve a lot of points for creativity as the game is basically just a rehash of Far Cry 3. The good thing is that Far Cry 3 was a terrific open-world first person shooter. Far Cry 4 makes minor improvements here and there but most importantly it manages to add some variety to the enemy camps. There’s just enough stealth to keep things interesting. A deeply satisfying RPG that should have found it's way into Europe a lot sooner. A combination of tough battles and a great freedom in how to develop your character and your team of demons makes Shin Megami Tensei IV the best 3DS RPG of the year. [Dec 2014]- Pelit (Finland)

Traveller's Tales FINALLY evolves their product over the critical point. The last few installations to Lego franchise have been disappointments, but Star Wars proves, that the studio hasn't lost their touch. The dull fighting mechanics are improved, level design is solid and the source material is adapted beautifully to Danish plastic. Hopefully TT Games will stay on this curve. Dead Island is maybe rough around the edges, has things that could have been better and has some strange solutions to gaming mechanics, but really, who cares? The main thing, close combat with zombies on an open environment, is both exceptionally well done and most importantly, great fun. Even alone. In the land of blindingly pretty, but simplified tubeshooters the ugly zombie game is the king. [Sept 2011]- Pelit (Finland)

Frighteningly good. The close-quarters combat works extremely well and so does the storyline. On the downside, the level-design is rather drab and the system requirements are downright deadly. [Nov 2005]- Pelit (Finland)

About living the life of a cute animal in real-time. The imaginative gameplay is as delightfully Nintendo-like as ever. Sit back and relax either on your own or with friends. [Mar 2006]- Pelit (Finland)
