The latest addition is on par with the previous releases and is a definite must have for any fan of the nimble, fleet footed prince.
  2. Featuring the same combat system from Warrior Within, and best of all, a completely new and inventive narrative, Prince Of Persia: The Two Thrones is a sequel worth playing.
  3. These great new combat skills, combined with the clever yet simple introduction of stealth play has boosted the Prince of Persia series to a new high. [PSW]
  4. Two Thrones caps off the greatest gaming trilogy quite possibly ever released in grand fashion, and it will surely keep us busy until Ubisoft decides whether to carry the PoP label over to the next-generation.
  5. Thrones also gets points for cribbing Sam Fisher's stealth skills and using a whip-like weapon that will send "God of War" fans scurrying to gaming chat rooms to voice their displeasure with the similarities. Thankfully, the controversy is worth it for this energetic adventure.
  6. One of the best new features is the Speed Kill, a stealth attack that requires timed button presses for successful take-downs - a brilliant addition to the already exhilarating game play.
  7. So I fought, each time sitting through an unskippable 30-second scene of the fight's start and then getting killed within a minute. I did this about 70 times. My body trembling from tension and exhaustion, I kept playing not because it was any fun but simply because it was my job, and when after three hours I finally won I experienced not victorious joy but simply relief that it was over. I felt all the considerable pleasure the game had given me had been taken back.

As someone who played and greatly enjoyed the first two incarnations, I must say this newest enstallment is absolutely AWESOME!!! LOVE the As someone who played and greatly enjoyed the first two incarnations, I must say this newest enstallment is absolutely AWESOME!!! LOVE the stealth kills and daggartail but also the fluidity of the game as a whole. The controls are wicked tight and the story is fantastic. The atmosphere is so engrossing that hours seem like minutes when I'm playing as if the sands of time were literally cascading through my fingers. GREAT fighting engine and that feeling of inertia when you're teetering atop rooftops and ledges is deliciously wild. I must say The Warrior Within (previous POP) was much darker and the puzzles more difficult but this game is definitely FUN, FUN, FUN!!! All hail UbiSoft and the Prince of Persia,,, oh, yeah... and Farrah. She's HOT! Expand

A must play for any action-based fighting gamers. It's the most fun I've had playing a game since God of War. If I pick up the A must play for any action-based fighting gamers. It's the most fun I've had playing a game since God of War. If I pick up the controller I might as well book off at least 4hrs. The only person glum about this game is my girlfriend. My love life's been put on hold until the completion of this game! Expand

Expand

Being the third title in a trilogy of PlayStation 2 titles, The Two Thrones does lacks a little bit in originality, but it virtually perfect the framework laid down by it’s predecessors making for arguably the most complete game in the series to date.
