Army of Two is a very good team shoot 'em up. It's reasonably realistic and the enemies are quite intelligent. Many weak-looking objects provide perfect cover, which is a bit odd. Army of Two is quite short, too. [March 2008]- Pelit (Finland)

Feels a little bit too familiar for the first half of the game. Still, it is one heck of a game with huge vistas to explore. The multiplayer section is a bit of a letdown, though. [Jan. 05]- Pelit (Finland)

An exhilarating return to Azeroth. World of Warcraft is as polished as ever and the newest expansion adds a few neat tweaks to the familiar formula. [Oct 2016]- Pelit (Finland)

The game itself is quite simple and short, but the story folds out in a great way. One of the best games of 2005 so far. [Sept. 05]- Pelit (Finland)

Boom Blox: Bash Party takes what was good (and there was a lot of it) on first Boom Blox and builds on it. An excellent action-puzzler. [June 2009]- Pelit (Finland)

New areas and races are well thought out and there is tons of stuff to do. Some hardcore raiders will not love the new 25 player raid cap, though, and the guild aspect of the game could have used more improvements. [Jan 2007]- Pelit (Finland)

Assetto Corsa is an excellent race driving simulation which needs better multiplayer modes. [Oct 2016]- Pelit (Finland)

A solid fantasy MMORPG that looks good, plays well and is faithful to Tolkien’s work. It could have broken out of the traditional EverQuest format a bit more, but even now it is one of the best games the genre has seen in recent years. [June 2007]- Pelit (Finland)

An excellent racing game. The tracks and the cars are very interesting. Too bad the cockpit view slows things down. [Sept 2008]- Pelit (Finland)

An excellent online FPS. The player limit is huge and the matches are huge. Intensive stuff. [Mar 2010]- Pelit (Finland)

Tetris re-visited for the 100th time, but this time it is worth it. Fast and furious rain of little cubes drown you before you notice and it drives you mad - and makes you play the game over and over and over again. [Nov 2005]- Pelit (Finland)

The Orange Box is great and atmospheric fun on PS3, too. Only major gripes are the occasional slowdowns, which luckily don't make the game unplayable. [Feb 2008]- Pelit (Finland)

An excellent beat 'em up. It is not the most original, but who cares when everything works this well. [Aug. 05]- Pelit (Finland)

An addictive football game with awesome gameplay, although the practice mode should have been more detailed. The franchise mode is very close to the real thing. [Apr. 05]- Pelit (Finland)

Heroes of Might and Magic V is like meeting an old friend. There is not really that much new if you have played the earlier games, but who cares when the new version is both addictive and beautiful to watch. [June 2006]- Pelit (Finland)

A dreamy adventure in a dreamy world. Thankfully Mario's vacations always end in crisis, since they seem to make excellent games. Dream Team Bros is both funny and sympathetic at the same time. [Aug 2013]- Pelit (Finland)

STASIS is one of the best point´n click adventures of the year and a solid horror experience. Its take on horror genre – slow-paced but intense 2D sci-fi horror with a claustrophobic atmosphere – is something completely unique. Add to that solid puzzles, good story and and you have gem of a game. A must for both fans of the horror and adventure genres. [Oct 2015]- Pelit (Finland)

Takes a totalitarian approach to warfare. It is not just about men or machines, but economy, supply and politics, too. This just might be the most finished, solid game from Paradox yet and is heartily recommended to those enjoying grand-scale strategic wargaming. [Feb 05]- Pelit (Finland)

Stardew Valley is a peaceful farming game with delightful retro graphics, tons of content and very addicting gameplay. In addition to farming, the game also offers various other activities such as fishing, crafting and quest solving. There are also big dungeons to explore and monsters to kill, but these adventure parts of the game feel a bit lackluster. [May 2016]- Pelit (Finland)

Many of the new planes are a bit odd, although admittedly pretty fun to fly. As a collection Il-2: 1946 is a true masterpiece. The best version of the greatest simulator of all time. [Jan 2007]- Pelit (Finland)

This Lego adaptation is by far the best block adventure yet to come. Although the game still suffers from the trademark issues of Traveller's Tales, the package is a solid adventure. The Middle Earth is available for roaming, the levels are constructed with care and the overall feel of the game is excellent. [Jan 2013]- Pelit (Finland)

Although Mario's newest adventure isn't the most innovative platformer, the game sticks to the basics and does them right. The chaotic multiplayer mode, sweet graphics and excellent controls ensure, that the plumber stays on the throne. [Jan 2013]- Pelit (Finland)

A fast-paced tactical game that is easy to approach but has depth in spades when you dig into it. The mix of randomness and determinism isn't quite optimal, but the end result is mostly excellent. Despite some lacklustre storytelling, even the single player side provides hours and hours of quality gaming. A cult classic. [Aug 2011]- Pelit (Finland)

Little King’s Story is (hopefully) the sleeper hit of this spring. The cute Japanese visuals hide a surprisingly deep, varied and at times rock hard game that is a joy to play. This is an old school game with a capital G and just what the Wii needs. [June 2009]- Pelit (Finland)

Super-fast fun. New engine makes the shooting look absolutely amazing and some balance fine-tuning fix the few things that didn't work in the 2004 version. The new hoverboard especially is a great addition; with it you can zip back to the action in seconds and there is no boring downtime anymore. [Dec 2007]- Pelit (Finland)
