Mists of Pandaria harkens back to the good old days of WoW, sometimes even a bit too much. The leveling up experience is great and Pandaria as an area looks fantastic. New little things like pet battles and handling your own farm are surprisingly good fun. The real problems lie at the end of the game where everybody is forced into grinding daily quests day after day since there are no other ways of getting reputation anymore. The new talent and glyph system is also very bland. Thankfully the new instances are as fun as always, even if they do not help at the reputation grinds anymore. [Sept 2012]- Pelit (Finland)

The game is a little too fond of genre conventions like fixing broken machines and conveying storyline through letters and other notes. Other than that Ether One is an excellent adventure title. It's nonlinear, charming and as challenging as you want it to be. [Sept 2014]- Pelit (Finland)

This strategy incarnation of Halo shows that without the burden of PC version it is possible to make a great RTS game for console. The only flaws are the length of the campaign and some minor idiocies in AI's behavior. [Mar 2009]- Pelit (Finland)

Botanicula looks and sounds amazing, just looking at it makes you happy! That said, it could have benefited from better puzzle design and the story delves a bit too deep into absurd and vague territory. Thankfully, the good outweighs the bad and Botanicula ends up being an enjoyable adventure. [May 2012]- Pelit (Finland)

The pocket-size Resistance tries it's best to imitate a shooter on PSP. Unfortunately the PSP itself sets boundaries, which are impossible to go around. The controls don't work and the lack of precision is aided with automatic aiming, which practically kills all the challenge. The graphics are good, there are few good one-liners, and the story is worth checking out. It's a shame, that the game tumbles in basics. [May 2009]- Pelit (Finland)

Real history can be a bit boring, so that's probably why Sunless Sea is set in an alternate world of 19th century where the city of London was transported underground by bats. The player is a steamship captain who must explore the vast underground sea, battle monsters and solve different types of quests. The writing and the atmosphere in the game is excellent, which is why I was really drawn into the events that were happening. It's a shame that the combat mechanics are oversimplified and simply not fun. The game is also too difficult for beginners. [May 2015]- Pelit (Finland)

A bizarre mix of serious topics and Tarantino-esque ultra-violence. For the first half the fast and furious shoot-outs are about as entertaining as first person shooters can get. Unfortunately, once the nazi-ranks start to fill up with bullet-sponge-y robots and cyborgs, the game quickly starts to lose it's appeal. Alien Isolation can be frustratingly difficult at times, but nevertheless it’s easily the best game in the Alien franchise since the original Aliens vs Predator. The fact that the game mimics perfectly the 1970s look and sci fi stylings of Ridley Scott’s Alien film makes the experience even more endearing. By featuring absurd number of “surprise” twists, Alien Isolation’s final act could’ve used some trimming. [Nov 2014]- Pelit (Finland)

Takes a normal fantasy world and turns it into a refreshingly interesting place. Geralt is an excellent main character. The story moves along nicely after the boring old amnesia start and there are lots of things to do.
