A stylish, addicting mix of tower defense and roguelike elements. The pacing of the game nicely alternates from planning your defenses in peace to frantically rushing with your heroes and villains to stop the alien swarms coming at you. There could be a bit more variety with the enemies and the modules you can build, but still finding new heroes and opening the new game modes can keep you well occupied. [Feb 2015]- Pelit (Finland)

Devil May Cry 4 is, well, Devil May Cry. That's both good and bad, depending on how you see it. Mainly it's a very good thing. It's quite beautiful and shows of the muscle of PS3 quite nicely, though. One for the PS3 -shopping list. [Feb 2008]- Pelit (Finland)

Firewatch adds a humane flavor to a game, that is a mix of walking simulator and a telltaleish adventure game. And it looks absolutely gorgeous. Campo Santo kicks off the adventure game year of 2016 with a high note. Well played, sirs! [March 2016]- Pelit (Finland)

A long-awaited port of the PS3 classic. The game has aged incredibly well, thanks to its beautiful cell-shaded graphic style and well thought mechanics. It takes some time to get used to cheerful anime cast of characters in what is essentially tale of World War 2 horrors, but once one is over that hurdle Valkyria Chronicles is a thoroughly enjoyable light strategy game. With Plants vs Zombies, Popcap cements its place as masters of polished, casual gaming that still hits its mark even with grizzled gaming vet. Even though the first playthrough of Plants vs Zombies is far too easy, second one combined with the survival mode and the multitude of minigames offers a lot of replayability. The biggest star though is in the graphic design, all the plants and zombies in the game are drawn and designed with funny wit and style. One can't help but love those little flowers fighting it out. The third installment in the Ezio series offers more of the same than the two previous episodes, only with a different plot and some new minor tricks and stuff. The Altaïr-flashbacks with the protagonist of the first Assassin's Creed are great, Desmond's platformer memories not so much, but overall it's yet another fine action adventure that feels just a bit too familiar. Mario Kart Wii against 11 real opponents is intense and exhilarating. Sometimes it's also infuriating but in the end that too is mostly a good thing. Still, something should have been done to the power ups of old. Fire and forget weapons and small chances of escape aren't the best combination. Desperados 2: Cooper’s Revenge continues on its predecessor’s path. The gameplay, graphics and characters are great. Add to that the Morricone-like music and you have a Wild West addict’s dream. Diablo III: Reaper of Souls makes the necessary changes to make Diablo 3 a legit good and fun game. Removing the auction house and bringing in Loot 2.0 is the correct move, but will the game suffer long term from essentially removing trading all together? Adventure Mode, with the random Nephalem Rifts in particular is a wonderful addition that should bring a ton of longevity. Especially because it lets one skip the lackluster way Diablo 3 still handles the strong plot elements from the earlier games. [Apr 2014]- Pelit (Finland)

Destiny is a flawed but still extremely fun first person shooter. While the Destiny universe itself seems intriguing, the storyline is told in such an incoherent manner that it's hard not to be turned off by all the technobabble. Dominions 4 is a turn-based strategy game set in a non-traditional fantasy world filled with various nations inspired by mythology and religion. As a player you first pick a nation and then customize your god. Then you just need to wipe out all the other factions and their false gods. Isn't that simple? The game really shines in multiplayer mode because fighting against real humans feels much better than dealing with AI factions that can't even use diplomacy. The best thing about Dominions 4 is the fact that it has tons of depth and replayability but it's a shame that the graphics and user interface are outdated. Well, I guess you can't have everything. Race 07 was just a season update for Race, and GTR Evolution continues to same direction. It adds the game some cars and legendary Nordscleife track, but basicly that's all. Everything is quite nice but nothing rises above the minimum level of hardcore racing simulators. Graphics engine looks like 5 years old. Production cars, that should shine brightly, look like plastic cars with plastic shine. In race cars that effect didn't bother, but with production cars graphics engine show its lack of ability to draw realistic lighting effects.
