Looks and plays great on Xbox 360, too. Enhanced Edition updates round out the game nicely and add much needed new stuff to the previously pretty brief last chapter. Thankfully nothing has been censored for the consoles, and everything in the world is still as engaging and gritty as it should be. The Witcher 2 Enhanced Edition is a serious contender for the best game of 2012. [Apr 2012]- Pelit (Finland)

This little platformer is by far one of the best Vita releases yet. The game uses the whole shebang of Vita's controls and the touch screen makes the level editor super easy to use. Unfortunately the levels made for PS3 are not compatible and the controls are still a tad too clunky for my taste. [Nov 2012]- Pelit (Finland)

With Plants vs Zombies, Popcap cements its place as masters of polished, casual gaming that still hits its mark even with grizzled gaming vet. Even though the first playthrough of Plants vs Zombies is far too easy, second one combined with the survival mode and the multitude of minigames offers a lot of replayability. The biggest star though is in the graphic design, all the plants and zombies in the game are drawn and designed with funny wit and style. One can't help but love those little flowers fighting it out. Having a big wide open playing area is a nice addition in many ways but unfortunately in the current form the pros don’t outweight the cons. Having to find your own route doesn’t quite fit the series and the dreadful car navigation system doesn’t help either. Also having to drive back to the starting line to restart a race is a big flaw and the decission to replace Crash with boring Showtime is bizarre. Still the basis of the game is so strong that even with obvious flaws the game is still quite fun especially in multiplayer. [Jan 2008]- Pelit (Finland)

Race Driver: Grid looks excellent and presents many interesting car classes. Still, bad A.I. and unbalanced physics engine that works for some cars and feels absolutely awful for some other of them, ruins the good potential. Grid is great entertainment at the beginning to show the potential of recently bought new generation console, but that's basicly everything it offers. No multiplayer game tested. Halo 4 is perhaps the best-looking Xbox games out there. While as a first person shooter Halo 4 isn't breaking any new ground, 343 Industries has done a terrific job retaining the classic Halo gameplay. The Prometheans are a bit of a let down, but luckily the Covenant hasn't been forgotten. While I enjoyed the new Reclaimer storyline, the touchy-feely stuff between Master Chief and Cortana feels a bit forced and awkward. Unsurprisingly the multiplayer is great fun, though the matchmaking could use a little speed-up. [Nov 2012]- Pelit (Finland)

The sequel to the first single player Battlefield definitely has its flaws, but the game is fun to play. Bad Company captivates the feel of the authentic 80's action flicks, which is not a bad thing. A remarkably cinematic game with a superbly stylish execution. The imaginative Quick Time Event action sequences, both big and small, enable participation in action normally reserved for passive cut-scenes. Diablo III: Reaper of Souls makes the necessary changes to make Diablo 3 a legit good and fun game. Removing the auction house and bringing in Loot 2.0 is the correct move, but will the game suffer long term from essentially removing trading all together? Adventure Mode, with the random Nephalem Rifts in particular is a wonderful addition that should bring a ton of longevity. Especially because it lets one skip the lackluster way Diablo 3 still handles the strong plot elements from the earlier games. [Apr 2014]- Pelit (Finland)

One of the most imaginative games Treasure has ever made. The care and though spent on every stage and boss encounter is impressive. The Boshin War marked the end of one era in Japan's history. The civil war, fought from 1868 to 1869 between forces of the Tokugawa shogunate and the Imperial troops, provides an excellent basis for a Total War game. Caught between the crossfire of different factions, Western influences and rapid technological development, Japan was reshaped. Fall of the Samurai draws successfully from this interesting setting. The battles are as massive and tactical as ever and conquering Japan province by province is immensely satisfying despite the familiar feeling of the game. [Apr 2012]- Pelit (Finland)
