The first Visual Novel actually made by the creators of The Dark Eye. The story seems like the generic thing someone would do for their very first tabletop campaign, so it kind of fits for the very first installment. However, if you are a Fan of the Dark Eye, you’ll definitely enjoy this Visual Novel a lot! Especially with these beautiful visuals.

The games are mostly great, the form in which they are presented is not, for playing them via streaming is a buggy chore. What could have been a treat for fans of the series ends up being a disappointment.

Except for hard core-fans of the series, barely anyone will find their time worth invested. Wet Dreams Dry Twice heavily bases itself on stereotypes and jokes that were not even funny when the first game launched. Bugs further diminish the enjoyment, but at least the game has an interesting story and a couple of new features.

More Starfield is a good thing. But Shattered Space doesn't do enough to justify the long wait.

Sea of Solitude doesn’t quite hit the mark. Gameplay-wise it is boring, the story overexplains too much and isn’t as interesting as it thinks it is. The idea behind it all, however, is great, exploring the concept of being lonely and taking the issue of depression seriously.

Evil Dead The Game captures the essence of the franchise perfectly. It's funny, it's bloody and sometimes even a bit scary. Unfortunately the gameplay is very repetitive and doesn't motivate longer than for a few sessions in a row.

Evil Dead The Game is great and bloody fun for an occasional session with friends. After a while though the gameplay gets too repetitive and the game lacks content. It's okay for now and then, but it fails to motivate over a longer period of time.

Norse: Oath of Blood deserves praise for its nice presentation and solid turn based tactics. The linear campaign, its uninspired building mechanics and a plethora of technical issues however really drag it down. Clearly a game that needed more time in the oven.

Short, graphically pretty, playful and narrative but completely irrelevant. Competently done as a remake, but that's just not enough.

The Invincible is a walking simulator that refuses to be seen as one. While it does show some potential in its narrative, the game simply doesn't follow through on all its foreshadowing. Factor in the seemingly pointless and boring gameplay and you're left with a rather disappointing experience.

The repetitive game design was partly on my laces, but I could have closed my eyes and pulled out a 7. However, the technical quirks are too pronounced for this and annoy a few short gaming sessions. If you like the Sharknado parts or other shark Schlockbuster, you do not have to delete Maneater from your wish list, but you should be able to overlook some shortcomings and definitely wait for a few patches.

Medieval Dynasty feels unfinished in many ways. Yes, it looks amazing and does a great job bringing the middle ages to life. The negatives overshadow the positives, however. The story is missing synchronization and traveling the vast distances between villages is exhausting because of missing fast travel points. There are many more things that really frustrated us. If you are not in for the interesting setting, there’s really not that much here to have fun with.

Despite its good ideas and intentions, Bound by Flame is a mediocre, often tiresome experience that suffers from a lackluster story and an ill-conceived combat system.

Sonic is the hero of my childhood! I grew up with the 2D platformers and my Mega Drive with games is now well protected in a glass cabinet in the living room. Accordingly, I approached Sonic Origins with hope. Sega would have had the chance to interest younger players and offer old fans a little added value. But they missed it cleanly. For new players, 40 euros for four old games will be too much. At the same time, the collection offers almost nothing new for fans. Sure, the scans of the old manuals and developer sketches are nice, but they are nothing more than some fluff on top. The versions of the games still play fantastically, but they are only warmed up and nothing here is original from the Mega Drive. They normally work good on PC, but there are player reports on steam of a few technical issues. This is simply unworthy of these classics of gaming history.

For me, Chernobylite has one problem above all: it wants too much at once. Shooting, crafting, developing skills, managing the base and team - because of all the Gampelay features, the makers have somehow lost track of everything. In the end, the genre mix seems a bit half-cooked. It's a shame.

Too many elementary mistakes were simply made here: the mission design is too monotonous, the story is poorly told, the technology an impertinence. To make matters worse, the makers neglected the endgame. Thus, the former RPG specialists here have finally lost the trust of many fans.

While the core-gameplay of Override 2 delivers on simple yet fun mech fights, the game loses steam quite quickly. Missing depth and cosmetics as well as almost no online player base: a mech-war without participants is pointless at best.

For gamers who love the anime the game is based on, it might be a dream come true. For everyone else, it is just an average JRPG. The missions are monotonous, there are no puzzles and if you don’t know the anime, you won’t understand a lot of the story.

Trek to Yomi is a missed opportunity. This game was made by real fans of Japanese cinema, who are very aware of the genre. The rudimentary gameplay however, thoroughly falls short.

One of the most polarising game in the last months: Outriders serves fun and entertaining gameplay but also dishes out a clichéd story and a vast number of technical issues. Most glaringly: the inevitable online-connection to play the game, which is undermined by the server problems. Being full price and a Triple-A-production, players should be able to expect more.

While the racing is improved, the game lacks content in every way. A boring presentation, required grinding for tracks and cosmetics as well as technical issues such as unstable fps and a soundtrack with dropouts heavily damage the fun racing.

Cities: Skylines 2 has exciting new ideas, introduces improvements in the right places, but tears down these advances with indisputable performance and questionable design decisions. You keep getting the feeling that the game was released too early.

Icarus is a hardcore survival game with an innovative concept. Despite its great potential, the story is non-existent. The game punishes playing alone and is in dire need of some polishing when it comes to enemy AI and bugs.

While the PvPvE-concept is great and the action is done well, the game gives away a ton of potential with only one mode and five maps. Additionally, the learning curve is quite steep and many mechanics only become clear through trial and error. If the developers stay true to their plans, however, this could become a great game in its genre.

With its stylish Anime-inspired presentation, accessible combat and intriguing plot, Soulstice makes a strong first impression. Over the course of the game’s 15 to 20 hour runtime, however, the shallow, often chaotic combat, mindnumbing level design and uninteresting progression system drag it down quite a lot. If you desperately crave a new, somewhat big budget hack & slay, the game might be worth a look, but don’t expect it to reach the heights of any Devil May Cry or Bayonetta.
