Barn Finders starts out strong and amuses players through unique ideas and involuntarily funny moments. Sadly, the game cannot uphold its entertaining beginning and loses itself in monotonous gameplay and almost no feeling of progress.

All in all, Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga has sadly been a frustrating experience for me. World design and presentation, with John William's classic score and the beautiful graphics, are top notch, but the gameplay and quest design got redundant only after few hours.

The bottom line is that that's too much gambling for me to motivate me permanently, even if the fights themselves are implemented quite nicely.

Series newcomers can definitely have their fun here. Anyone who has played the original Stronghold or Crusader is just used to a different quality.

Kirby’s Dream Buffet could be a fun little party game. While the level design is undoubtedly polished, it really doesn't offer enough content to be fun on a longer term. The biggest downside however is that the game offers also no local four player splitscreen-mode which kind of destroys its purpose as a party game.

Nice roster and fun gameplay versus a lot of grinding, free-to-play weaknesses and sometimes uninspired characters: MultiVersus is currently unable to dethrone Smash Bros.

While AO Tennis 2 improves upon many features from its predecessor, but the unbalanced challenge and short tutorials make the game quite inaccessible. The mechanic of good and evil seems like a unique idea, but its implementation is superficial at best.

Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered is clearly aimed at nostalgics who are not put off by the outdated game design and who want to relive the old adventures with Lara in a prettier look. In its time, Tomb Raider was a game series that set new standards. But nostalgia is a tricky thing and often good memories don't stand up to scrutiny with modern eyes.

It's not a problem that House of Ashes tells a different story than the one I imagined. But a good story to replace it would have been nice. In the end, however, I was left dissatisfied, and the technical flaws are not even taken into account, they are added. With Man of Medan and Little Hope, I found it easier to forgive these stumbling blocks as the plot grabbed me more.

On the technical site, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered works like clockwork. However, 4K and 60 fps cannot save the game from an empty world, a severe lack of challenge, no dynamic weather and no global high scores. A game that drives mainly on nostalgia and lost its contemporary value.

Miles better than the technical disaster X Rebirth, X4 is still far away from its clearly recognizable ideal state.

An annoying protagonist and a moralising undertone that prevents the player from making real decisions themselves undercut an otherwise thrilling story.

Yes, Your Grace tells an interesting tale with some intriguing twists and turns, but beneath its grim story lies a monotonous gameplay loop that combines elements of traditional adventures, RPG-style choices and management games. It's fine for one playthrough, but with the story unfolding in a surprisingly linear fashion, there is not much reason to give it another go.

Pandora looks inviting but turns out to be nothing but nice décor with which we can barely interact in meaningful ways. The gameplay on the other hand primarily consists of missions and mechanics that do not respect the audience’s time and simply aren’t fun.

After an eventful and enticing beginning, Mars Horizon falls of quickly and loses itself in its repetitive nature. Dedicated space cracks will find satisfying aspects in the realistic astronautics simulation.

Payday 3 is fun to play, but there would be so much more potential in the game. More stealth features could make things more varied and better. Particularly because the shooter gameplay has also some weaknesses like the spongy controls.

The summarized story of previous titles, an optional, easier control scheme and lots of stuff to collect make Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections a solid entry point for beginners. Everyone else is better off waiting for Ninja Storm 5, watching the anime or reading the manga again.

The bland, repetitive mission design and a boring story make Crackdown 3 a quite forgettable experience.

It is hard to fault that the game has a much younger audience in mind, but the lack of challenge, the repetitive gameplay and redundant backtracking make the otherwise nice pirate trip a chore at times.

While not as punchy as Doom Eternal, the energetic, over-the-top combat is fluid, satisfying and by far the best aspect of Shadow Warrior 3. Everything else, however, seems like a big step back from its predecessor: Repetitive parkour segments, terrible writing, bland level design and a limited supply of weapons are not quite enough to carry the game through its playtime, which clocks around six hours or so. With no coop and very little reason to give it another go, the asking price seems a bit steep as well.

A fun and charming funracer. It stands to question though why you’d need this game when there’s Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, which does everything Chocobo GP does, but better.

It's okay for casual players, but if your are familiar with the genre, you will find Chaosbane to be a mediocre, extremely repetitive experience that does not even come close to what Grim Dawn, Path of Exile or Diablo 3 have to offer.

Due to the performance problems on PS5 and Xbox Series, we are forced to deduct [10 points] here. Overall, The First Descendant does not fully exploit its potential. But the title has enough room for improvement and could therefore be expanded further in the coming weeks and months. Even the popular Destiny series was unable to convince players from the start.

Gotham Knights, which can be described as mediocre at best, doesn't really know what it wants to be or how it would like to sell its story at any stage. No gameplay area of the new Batman game can truly shine, and as if that isn't difficult enough, the great Arkham series adds an extra burden to it. And that's what Batman died for?

For a game about rallyes, there isn’t a lot of this in Art of Rally. Driving around is fun for an hour or so, but after that, you have more or less seen everything of interest that there is. Stilistically, the game is a success, but it is too easy, the story is weird (but not in a good way) and repetition takes away a lot of the fun one could have.

If Bleeding Edge can hold up and the developers regularly deliver game content, it could be a varied, good game. Until then, there is still a lot to do.

I think that the impression of the game would have been better if the message of the story had been defined a little more clearly. Nevertheless, the style of the game exerted a certain charm on me and I think that other players can do the same.
