Persona 5 does so much more than just look stylish. Aside from the gacha system, The Phantom X fails to capture the core of the series.

The game tells a great story full of interesting scenarios and looks nice. However, some irritating escape sequences, the weak horror aspect and the fact that there is absolutely no exploration needed in the levels hold it back. Adding to that, Layers of Fear 2 is quite short. There are way better horror games like it.

While the game is not nearly as ground breaking as an earthquake, the concept is unique and expands on a working idea. Technically and visually, Disaster Report 4 is, well, a disaster, but its absurd combination of comedy and drama evokes a certain charm.

The ocean setting is still amazing, controls are fine and the action is satisfying enough. However there is a ton of stuff that feels undercooked or downright boring, such as story, mission variety, loot or the superficial upgrade mechanics. 4 player co-op is easily the most interesting feature of Aquanox Deep Descent and could be worth a look, at least once the devs iron out some of its shortcomings.

Tales of the Shire feels like an unfinished beta version. It lacks detail, depth, and, above all, sound. A lot of wasted potential.

The Cub would have needed a lot more meat on its bones to leave a lasting impression. There is barely any time to immerse yourself in the game world or characters and gameplay remains rudimentary.

The word that describes Eldest Souls best is: painful. The promising core gameplay is buried under a ton of flaws. Horrible controls, a boring story and a non-existent learning curve make it so that not even souls-veterans will like this game.

Garden Story has a great soundtrack and the artstyle is adorable. Well, and that’s all the positives we can think about. Repetitive tasks and very flawed game design make Garden Story a chore to play most of the time.

One of the best mobile games suffers from one of the worst cases of monetization we've seen in years. Blizzard misses its one shot to finally win back some of its loudest critics. What we have instead is a Diablo that will forever be labeled as a greedy pay-to-win game - even if there is actually a ton of great content that you can enjoy without spending a dime. Diablo Immortal may be worth your time, but certainly not your money.

Drag x Drive isn't a bad game—quite the opposite: The creative mouse controls are a bold move that lends virtual wheelchair basketball a unique feel. Especially in the first few hours, the mix of precision, tactics, and physical activity is captivating. But this very unique selling point becomes a hindrance in the long run.

While Reverie Knights Tactics has some novel ideas for its turn-based battles, it falls short in just every other aspect. Its exploration is bland, its story lacklustre and its visuals unappealing. With a tighter focus on what works, this game could have been promising. As it stands, however, the experience of playing this RPG is ultimately an unsatisfying one.

Some severe technical problems make it so that the last-gen version of Strangers of Paradise cannot really be recommended. Buy it if you have no other means of playing it and desperately want to do so, otherwise PC or PS5/Xbox Series should be your platform of choice.

The new big One Piece adventure, while charming in parts, is unfortunately stuck too deep in a hole of backtracking, unpolished ideas, and frustration to provide any joy outside its large fan base.

Pathway is a through and through a run-of-the-mill experience. The story is pretty uneventful, battles are far too easy to win and the constant need to stock up on fuel for your car drags the game to a screeching halt. Pathway does have its own charm, but Robotality missed the chance to learn from their prior experiences with Halfway and repeats - as well as adds - many avoidable mistakes.

The reboot of the series is not a bad game. In it's best moments it is goofy over the top fun. The problem is: These moments are extremely rare. Most of the time you're playing repetitive missions where you're shooting AI enemies who are incredibly stupid and the gunplay feels like straight from the year 2005. But the biggest flaw of the game is its' humour. It is funny at times, but never as hilarious as the old Saints Rows. It is a mediocre game with only flashes of what the series was beloved for ten years ago.

Nobody Saves the World can be a lot of fun. Its mechanics are solid, it is visually pleasing and the music fits the game incredibly well. But the repetitive gameplay loop keeps it from becoming something special, therefore only making it something decent.

Too many elements in Floodland could have used a little more polish. The title also lacks the replayablility to really make waves. [...] First of all though, the game should have been released in a technically sound state.

You can tell how much love and detail have gone into the game. Even if the technology fails here and there, I can recommend the experience to any fan of shallow horror.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint suffers from the lack of decisiveness. It does not know whether it is a single player game or a loot-shooter like The Division 2 and thus, fails to satisfy either of the two areas. Additionally, a poor enemy AI and a story oozing with clichés add to the shooter distress.

If you expect Somerville to be as polished and gripping as the all-time favourite Inside, you are in for a disappointment. The game sure has its moments, even though it turns into a slog pretty fast.

Somerville shows a ton of promise in its dramatic opening sequence, but sadly becomes a bit of a slog after a while. The game definitely has its moments, like some beautiful vistas, neat puzzles and a few pulse-pounding chaces, but the uneven pacing, wonky controls and unsatisfying conclusion make it really hard to enjoy sometimes.

Ever Forward has so much potential. Due to the unused graphic style and soulful story, developer Pathea could have created a real indie pearl. The gameplay around the frustrating puzzles prevents that, although great puzzles crept in in between, which I was happy to break my head about. At the latest because of the stressful puzzles with time pressure, I often lost the fun of the game. Especially the gravity puzzles at the end are one cramp. It's a shame, it could have been so good ...

In Sound Mind is a solid horror game brought down by massive problems. It never runs smoothly and the controls are imprecise. The worst part during our time with the game was when we had to circumvent a game-breaking bug by triggering another bug on purpose.
