A lack of decent advanced tutorials keeps the bats firmly separated from the boys and the likelihood of extensive replay fairly slim. But for fans of the DCU, it's show-stopping fun. It's the game we deserve, if not the one we need right now.- Official Xbox Magazine UK

Trespasser has a little more sentiment than substance, but it's still a good last outing for your Inquisitor. [Dec 2015, p.91]- Official Xbox Magazine UK

When Battlefield 3 received a set of heavy armour maps and another set of close-quarters infantry maps, that was a revolution. Black Ops 2's Revolution is a step in the right direction, but a small one.- Official Xbox Magazine UK

Sure, the levels are all much of a muchness, and despite the variety of game modes, it can get samey. But the persistent online game - a fight for Dark Matter between Paladins (humans) and Valiants (aliens) - adds long-term appeal, and once you've mastered its quirks, it's an absolute blast in small doses.- Official Xbox Magazine UK

Ultimately, how much enjoyment you take will depend on whether you fall in love with the cartoonish characters and if you're willing to accept the ridiculous, convoluted plot. Darksiders is well made and passes the time, but it just lacks that 'wow' factor which would elevate it to greatness. There are far too many moments that you'll have seen a hundred times before.- Official Xbox Magazine UK

But Space Marine's key flaw isn't, oddly, that it tramples its brainy heritage to mush. It's that the game doesn't trample hard enough.- Official Xbox Magazine UK

Unapologetically rugged retro-romp where every inch of progress is cause to break out the celebration cake. Not for the faint of heart, but in the short term, it's a pleasing challenge for the faint of wallet.- Official Xbox Magazine UK

Each of the three play styles - stealth, gadgets and guns - become tedious if you doggedly stick with where your skill points have been spent. But if you're able to keep changing your style, and can forgive the attention-breaking idiocy of the enemies, you'll see there's potential here for a great sequel and series.- Official Xbox Magazine UK

It has the feel and production values of a blockbuster game, but lacks any big-budget thrills. If you can get over the inane storyline, there's enjoyment to be had from the solid game play and co-op moves, but don't expect the fun to live much longer than those Iraqis you're shooting at.- Official Xbox Magazine UK
