Only someone who hates comedy could dislike this game. Seriously. If you delight in the absurd and can take a good sassing from the sassiest game to ever sass a sassee, then buy it.- NintendoWorldReport

Miami Nights simply isn't fun. It's highly repetitive, as the entire game is "get money, spend money." Character interactions don't feel realistic in any regard.- NintendoWorldReport

The game may be more entertaining for the younger set, but you would never haul this game out at parties over, say, Nintendo Land or Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing Transformed. You'd bore your guests to tears. Avoid this one, guys, unless your kids are huge fans of the movie. Even then… maybe not.- NintendoWorldReport

Session: Skate Sim is an exciting premise on its face. The skate sim genre is up and coming, with new entries promised like Skate 4. The trouble comes when you think about how much is going on in the background. Physics adjustments on the fly, animation adjustments, and massive maps. In an attempt to include this fully featured PC game on the Switch there had to be concessions and we see that in both visuals and how it plays. It’s a miracle that the game runs at all, but just because you can port it, doesn’t mean you should.- NintendoWorldReport

It's got bad graphics, boring, repetitive missions, and not enough variety to justify toiling through race after race. The game is really nothing more than a photo and video collection of the race's history with some interactive parts to tie it together.- NintendoWorldReport

You'd be better off ignoring G.I. Joe on the DS entirely and just seeing the movie instead, which I understand is awesome. The game, obviously, does not follow suit.- NintendoWorldReport

Hobbled by poor design and beset with technical issues. The game's selling point is the chance to fly planes, and far too often you don't. Is it so much to ask that a flight game focus on giving you full control of an aircraft?- NintendoWorldReport

Slain: Back from Hell is not a game that everyone will enjoy. It’s difficult and requires a lot of patience to see it through to the end. It’s also not a very long game. My first playthrough clocked in at around seven hours, though better players could certainly finish it more quickly. There’s also nothing new to do once you’ve slain Vroll. But if you have a thing for the difficult platformers of yore, Slain: Back from Hell is a satisfying blend of what made those games great.- NintendoWorldReport

This is a poor return for the Tony Hawk franchise, and the only bright side to this game is that they might make a better version in the future.- NintendoWorldReport

A mediocre powerup-driven racing game that has one mode of play disguised as three. The "Story" Mode, probably the least painful of the three, can be finished in under an hour of solid play.- NintendoWorldReport

Thief of Thieves would be a boring game in the best of conditions, but the Switch version only serves to make a bad game worse. It’s incredibly short, clocking in at less than five hours, but I still found myself struggling to care to keep going long before I reached the end. From the bland, underdeveloped gameplay to the buggy port, Thief of Thieves spent so much time focusing on the comic book’s style that it didn’t bother including any actual substance.- NintendoWorldReport

rhaps if the game's difficulty and level design were improved, it could have served as a nice diversion for fans of the TV series. But as it, it's just another lackluster licensed game to add to the list.- NintendoWorldReport

It's clear that Flip's Twisted World aims to not only evoke comparisons to high quality 3D platformers like Super Mario Galaxy, but also high-concept puzzle platformers such as Braid, And Yet It Moves, and A Boy and His Blob. However, the unimaginative level design, overall bugginess, and general lack of polish really stop it from achieving those goals.- NintendoWorldReport

Scribblenauts Showdown is a cookiecutter attempt at bringing back a lost franchise. While the party aspect isn't absolutely terrible, its bland nature made me shrug every time. And sure, the game tries to tie it in to the Scribblenauts franchise, but it misfires to an almost comical degree. This would be more funny if it didn't involve games I used to really love.- NintendoWorldReport

Pong Quest wasn’t just a mediocre game, it was an infuriating one. Wonky enemy AI, a terrible special ball and HP system, and a lack of content made the game feel like a chore to play, as opposed to being a good time. When I wasn’t bored with the lack of substance to this game, I was aggravated by every enemy encounter and the core battle mechanics. When the best part of the game is the classic local multiplayer Pong experience from nearly 50 years ago, that should say a lot about the quality of the game. If you really want to play the original Pong on Switch, that should be the only reason you should be picking up this title.- NintendoWorldReport

With more polish and a longer development cycle, Shattered Crystal could have been very enjoyable. Now it is just what it wants to be: An okayish tie-in to a new Sonic cartoon.- NintendoWorldReport

101-in-1 Explosive Megamix is the definitive bad budget title. Some of the mini-games are remotely fun, but others feel like a chore. With so many poor and forgettable games on the compilation, it's hard to recommend this one.- NintendoWorldReport

Shapes of Gray is a decent first effort from the developer Secret Tunnel, but the unreliable combat and lack of aesthetic personality ultimately hold it back. As such, it’s hard to recommend a one-trick game when it doesn’t do that one trick very well.- NintendoWorldReport

In terms of what is on offer for a veteran gamer or someone who is familiar with the franchise, you will find this is a lacking option with not a lot of change, variation, or improvements. Motion control issues hamper the experience for anyone going for full completion, and the rest of what you see will remind you of one of the Wii-era titles in the series straight from 2007. As a family game, Cooking Mama: Cookstar offers a serviceable experience for your children for an evening.- NintendoWorldReport

If I were to judge Desert Child exclusively on its aesthetics, I would have nothing but glowing praise for it. From the gorgeous pixel art to the incredible soundtrack, Desert Child looks outstanding. Looks can be deceiving though, and it’s clear that much more time was spent on crafting a distinct style than fine-tuning gameplay. If you’ve so much as watched a trailer for Desert Child, you’ve already experienced everything worth seeing in the game.- NintendoWorldReport
