The Last Oricru, is a problematic game in every aspect. The plot is not exciting, the gameplay suffers from the cumbersome control system, and the graphics are not up to today's standards. Co-op and interesting character development are not enough to save the game from insufficiency.

A few words on the sound, which is very essential in terms of musical accompaniment, almost absent, but does an excellent job in terms of design and effects among screams, moans and noises that will help make our stay in the mysterious game scenario a nightmare experience.

The Darkest Tales brings brilliantly to life a twisted version of our childhood's fairytales with a combat system similar to the one of Hollow Knight.

Asterigos Curse of the Stars is a non-innovative, but fun and solid action role-playing game. It offers a good amount of content at a budget price, an interesting story that can be deepened if you invest time in narrative collectibles. It has no major flaws, but at the same time it does not excel.

Run surprisingly well and look stunning in portable mode, No Man's Sky on Switch is like a dream come true: an entire universe, minus the online, literally in your hands.

Overwatch 2 is more akin to a big update than a full fledged sequel: it still is the fun, dynamic and charismatic shooter it was but the new free to play model is lackluster and predatory.

LEGO Bricktales is the way LEGO video games should be conceptualized. A meditative, yet intoxicating building experience that truly relies itself on the physical reliability of our creations. It is the kind of adventure that brings generations together, having fun and sharing experiences through their favourite passions.

One Punch Man - The Strongest is a strategic RPG with turn-based combat and gacha elements that inevitably winks at the usual freemium mechanics that in the first hours give out rewards and victories at full throttle, then pull out the inevitable paywalls.

A competent port for a legendary game. Nier: Automata for Switch is the best way to live 2B's journey everywhere, knowing all of this can be done only by sacrificing resolution and framerate.

Valkyrie Elysium is a competent action game with a solid battle system and some interesting RPG tweaks but the shallow narrative and the feeble reference to the original games might turn fans of the franchise off.

Desta: The Memories Between offers an undoubtedly original experience, a mix of genres and suggestions that uses narration as the glue between increasingly complex strategic clashes, with the roguelite approach to remind us at every moment that a defeat will bring us back to the beginning.

Life is Strange: Arcadia Bay Collection is a fairly good porting, not extraordinary nor particularly exciting in terms of contents, but surely interesting for the new dimension that it brings: the experience of this coming-of-age narration in portability.

Shovel Knight succeeds again, even in a game structured differently from the original one, but somehow similar to it. Shovel Knight Dig is a delightful roguelike that maintains the core movements and control of the platform but with an exciting, vertical twist.

The Excavation of Hob's Barrow is a classic point-and-click adventure that is simple and not particularly long. It would have benefited from a few additional sections, but overall the atmosphere, intriguing plot and excellent voice acting make it a good choice for fans of the genre.

Serial Cleaners is built upon the good foundations set by its predecessor, carried on by new characters that expand its interesting narrative concept. However, its stealth mechanics are a bit flawed and the innovative thrust of the first chapter got a little lost in this sequel.

Blind Fate: Edo no Yami unfortunately fails to fully express all its potential, wasting a few opportunities and tripping over certain design choices. The story and the setting of the game are fascinating, they did a great job both technically and artistically, the many enemies are well characterized but overall the game is a wasted opportunity.

Penko Park is an absurdly indie Pokémon Snap-like: enjoyable but quite derivative. You'll find all the typical mechanics of a track-based photography game and immerse yourself in a quirky and cute little world. For a handful of hours you'll have fun.

EA Sports hasn't made any concrete effort to revamp the game modes of FIFA 23, but it has succeeded where no one has ever done before: renew the old formula to make room for a slower pace gameplay. Seems that the latest FIFA is also the funniest ever made.

An impressive and peculiar tactical RPG, that captured our attention with its complex narrative rich in politics and intrigue. It never reaches its full potential, due to some limitations in the class system and some blunders in the player progression, but it's still a great game that any strategy aficionado should play.
