Dungeon Gems is a clone of Puzzle & Dragons, but a very good one, with some new mechanics and better graphics.

Scary, dark and disturbing, Silent Hill is a classic title in the legacy of the Konami saga, everything fulfills the expectations of a true fan of the series. Otherwise a casual gamer or a freshman of the universe of Silent Hill, could find few issues, like a strictly linear progression and old gameplay mechanics.

Guardians of Middle-Earth is a good surprise to be the first MOBA game for consoles. The new control system via gamepad works perfectly and the charisma of the Lord of the Rings setting do the rest. The only two maps are a frustrating limitation but although this tactical gameplay and balance are the real bonuses of Monolith production.

Brainsss starts with an original idea, but the result is a game without personality. An RTS with no tactical elements and a zombie game without gore could be, in effect, a problem.

Escape Plan is a hard and fast but extremely fun puzzle-game that takes advantage from the unique features of Sony's latest hardware platform to deliver a rewarding and visually pleasing product. Believe us: this is one of the strongest titles in the PlayStation Vita's launch library.

We would have loved a more complex story, more different quest and more NPC but at it's core Portal Knights it's a pretty cool game, with quite good content and a lot of stuff to do and to create. Combat system is really simple but quite challenging for the young players out there, a good compromise to satisfy a wide audience.

Super Meat Boy 3D is a successful exercise in reinterpreting the series, transporting the protagonists of this historic 2D saga into a world of major aesthetic and conceptual changes. The former are easy to get used to; the latter require a bit more effort, even if it’s both pleasant and surprising to rediscover the responsiveness and speed of the original game. What truly changes, however, is the mindset with which you approach each level, which now benefits from an unprecedented sense of depth and scale, and requires the player—not only to rely on their usual exceptional reflexes and precision—but also to be able to read the path ahead. Perhaps it is precisely this lack of clarity that stands as the game’s biggest flaw, in what remains a very enjoyable experience (especially if you’re a bit of a masochist) and one that is packed with ideas that never run dry. In fact, quite surprisingly, they increase in the second and final stretch. Is this the new “skin” of the Meat Boy saga? I don’t think so, but it is certainly a successful diversion.

Even if it’s ultimately kind of fun, Feed Me Oil 2 feels like a lazy sequel: the only real enhancements are in the graphics, while the gameplay really hasn’t changed that much.

Warlock - Master of the Arcane is a good turn-based strategy game which is lacking only multiplayer modes. It's a modern Master of Magic and a solid and lengthy game.

The ones who expected a port of the PS4 version of Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends - Complete Edition will be disappointed, since the PC version is based on the "old gen" graphics and also suffers from a series of technical issues.

King of the Castle is a decidedly particular game, and its exclusively multiplayer nature could unfortunately make it less famous than it actually deserves. There are still some things to polish and something to add but this could just be the dawn of a new genre of games to interact with through a live or to spend a few hours having fun with friends.

Breathedge is an atypical survival, which tries to do what subnautica did years ago, replacing water with outer space and with a non-sense narrative. Fun and stimulating in exploration, much less successful in its narrative component.

Fotonica brings a minimal design with an original concept, with a level of depth that you wouldn't imagine for a single-button game. The PC version is now also enjoyable with up to other three players, thanks to the improvement to the local split-screen multiplayer.

Aragami is pure stealth, designed to satisfy fans of the genre. The game is quite repetitive but the whole experience is good to play, both in single-player and co-op. There are also nice visuals, even though some technical issues must be solved.

LEGO Rock Band is both for kids and experienced players, since the expert level is still a tough one. It's a really cute game and well done as an overall, but there should have been more songs, especially considering the price and the fact that you will be asked to play them over and over before you get to the end of the single player campaign.

Final Fantasy: 4 Heroes of Light drops the cinematic look of the franchise for a much more traditional gameplay. It's an halfmade attempt however because many features are excessively out-of-date and players find theirselve struggling more against an unfriendly game-design than the monsters inhabiting the world of Brandt and his friends. With an excellent visual and art direction as its best feats, Final Fantasy: 4 Heroes of Light is a JRPG which will appeal nostalgic players especially, but it is nowhere close to the quality provided by Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies.

Although Prince of Persia: Warrior Within looks astonishing and smooth on iPhone 3GS, the same cannot be said for the previous iDevices, in which the game is affected by continuous loadings and less incisive graphics. A spiteful camera and unintuitive controls makes too hard jumping on the platforms, climbing on pilasters or running on the walls.
