Unit 13 is a fun "pick & play" 3rd person shooter which offers a good number of missions, modes and challenges, albeit somewhat repetitive. It looks good and plays even better but you can't help feeling Zipper Interactive could have done more.

Nano Assault Neo is a competent twin analog shooter, both solid and fun, but it's also a little too much traditional gameplay-wise and you can beat it in a couple of hours. And that's not cool.

Life Is Strange Reunion is a high-quality title, but it is also too conservative and shows how the series' formula has been used to the point of exhaustion. Life Is Strange itself will certainly have a future, but it is now necessary to rethink its mechanics even before introducing new characters. Time has been rewound far too many times; now it must be allowed to flow. Only then can Max and Chloe be truly remembered with affection. Otherwise, by constantly being reminded that life is strange, even strangeness risks becoming normality.

Farpoint is a basic shooter that we suggest only to the owners of PlayStation VR that are desperately looking for something to play.

BioDefense: Zombie Outbreak is yet another tower defense for iPhone, in this case with a somewhat original scenario and a very good mix of both interface and controls. What a pity it offers only ten missions and two weapons.

Plunder Pirates does almost everything right: however it’s little more than a clone of Clash of Clans, with the same ups and downs of Supercell’s game.

Tachyon Project is a decent twin stick shooter, with some good ideas but a short campaign.

The game has some interesting mechanics and the combat system is simple and immediate. Sadly there are too many micro-transactions and some of them are connected to pay-to-win logics.

Trek to Yomi is a good game. He wisely mixes action combat and exploration. Too bad for some ingenuity that often makes it not very user friendly and which all seem to derive more from inexperience than from lack of time. If you are a lover of Japanese folklore and culture you will still have something to eat.

The results are evident, and there is no doubt that the game features some truly evocative sequences—as well as several particularly strong artistic vistas—yet at the same time, one notices minor frame rate inconsistencies on PS5, a few too many reconstruction artifacts, the limited scope of the explorable environments, and, above all, animations that are often stiff, thereby highlighting the production's limitations.

Get Even is a flawed product, that suffers immensely from sub-par shooting and stealth sessions and some technical problems on console. Still, its interesting and complex storyline and amazing sound design make it a worthwhile - albeit short - experience.

Stranger of Sword City is a brutal and punishing crawler which hits hard and mercilessly every time the player makes a single mistake. It's gorgeous to look at and ultimately satisfying but still too much infuriating to be fun.

Syberia was an excellent graphic adventure, and its Remastered version remains an excellent game; this is probably the most important detail. That said, as a remastered version that is somewhat of a remake but not quite, Microids' effort was not particularly bold. There was definitely room for the changed puzzles to be more interesting, and there was scope for greater attention to detail and remastering of the cutscenes. We recommend it, but we admit we were hoping for a little more effort.

Wheel World perfectly captures the joyful feeling of pedaling with the wind on your face and in your hair. While, on one hand, the decision to focus on a more relaxed and open-minded setting transformed the game into a splendid bike ride simulator, punctuated by races, on the other, we felt that narrative and progression were pushed to the sidelines. The story remains a fun, background story, and the system for obtaining new bike parts gradually becomes less central due to a lower-level challenge and some components that, once obtained, make our ride nearly unbeatable. It remains a very enjoyable experience lasting about five hours, accompanied by a high-quality synth-pop soundtrack.
