Volgarr the Viking 2 is a great platform arcade, with some lacklustre choices.

The Nintendo levels are really good and differ from the main series, but the impossibility to upload your own stage is an heavy flaw.

Storyteller is a well made game with a strong sense of novelty which forces you to think but comes to an end too soon and sometimes isn't really clever how it should have been.

Mafia: Terra Madre is a clear return to the roots of the series, crafted by the skilled and inventive hands of the team at Hangar 13. It’s a linear action-adventure, built on open-world foundations that aim to strike the best possible balance in every aspect of its gameplay and technical performance. There's nothing truly innovative in its mechanics, nor anything particularly original in its mafia story, which leans heavily on cinematic overtones and is enriched by the classic clichés of the genre. That said, there’s no doubt the full package works: it offers exactly what one would expect from a production of this type, especially when you consider its production values and, most of all, the price it's being sold at. You run, you shoot, you hide, and you experience a solid, parabolic tale of a poor miner who climbs the ranks of a Cosa Nostra family over a dozen intense, enjoyable, and ultimately fun hours—even if never truly memorable.

Even with its cute presentation and interesting gameplay mechanics, Little Raiders: Robin's Revenge doesn't have enough consistency and variety to keep you hooked up until the end.

Simple and smart, Journey Below's concept works very well enriching both the endless runner and the dungeon crawler mechanics in a well-balanced, although pretty short-lived, mix.

NBA Live 19 is another step forward on the path to redemption for this franchise. NBA 2K may still be too far, but this game has now its own identity.

Coromon is a title full of interesting ideas. Its classic and celebratory setting of the genre it belongs to, hides a substrate of originality that makes the title a valid experience for all fans. The Coromons do not exude charm and peculiarities on all sides, but the set of secondary missions, narrative and team building possibilities greatly increase the overall value of the work.

EA listened to a lot of gamers' complaints about the first Army of Two and delivered a much better effort under almost every respect. This game is a fun coop experience which has its moments even when played on your own. In this case, by the way, you may notice IA unsolved problems and that you are actually roaming one single setting, even if it's very well done.

Once again Guerrila did what it knows best: a game with fantastic graphics, a fascinating narrative and gameplay with highs and lows. Killzone: Shadow Fall is a competent shooter you would like to try on PlayStation 4, although some flaws prevent it from becoming a killer app for the console.

Chorus is a frantic and rather challenging space shooter, with many different enemies and nice boss fights but also complex controls that will literally make you intertwine your fingers during the more challenging and blasphemous clashes.

Arcadegeddon is a third-person shooter with a great gunplay, and even if it's designed for a 4 players co-op, without a gripping storyline, struggles to really engage its players.

LEGO 2K Drive is a fun, colorful and carefree racing game, perfect also to be enjoyed with friends locally thanks to the split-screen mode. The developers have tried to blend the exquisite humor of LEGO productions (evident in many secondary missions and in the main narration) with the typical gameplay of arcade racing games. The balance works almost always, net of some main weaknesses: a vehicle control system that needed several refinements, too often confusing; and a progression that will not convince everyone, since to access each new race it requires first to level up by dedicating yourself necessarily to the secondary activities.

Funny and immediately into the action, Ultratron is simple multidirectional shooter coming directly from the '80 arcade era. We just can't understand why forcing the player to always start again from the first level.

FAR: Changing Tides is a narrative adventure with puzzle platforming elements, a good evolution or even just continuation of the first chapter, but it is not able to fully convince. The gaming experience, controller in hand, is certainly not challenging but, if you come to terms with the self-imposed structural limitations, you will find yourself appreciating the navigation and immersion phases.

This is a decent football game, but it's only a distant relative of FIFA 11 for Xbox360 and PS3, and it's far worse than PES on Wii. Try it only if you are a fan of five-a-side football.

The "new" Motocross Madness is not... Motocross Madness. This arcade game looks fun and enjoyable whit the use of avatars but probably too easy in a long term. Still worth the (low) price if played with friends online or, better, in local multiplayer.

There are no significant changes for Just Dance 2017, it's basically the same formula we know, with additional and quite rich Unlimited catalog and an extra mode for current-gen versions. The real difference is made by the playlist employed. In order to maximize the potential of the Ubisoft product you need to lean on subscription.

More an experiment on digital narrative than a real videogame, Father and Son shows a good take on the relationship between the two, inside a charming, although little, representation of Naples and its archeological museum.
