It feels almost ancient for some aspects and that's a good thing, because Dragon Quest Tact strikes a balance between the overused gacha RPG mobile structure and the good old JRPG.

KeyWe is a light-hearted, two-player platformer/puzzle experience. It is a perfect title to play with young children or those who have no experience in the gaming world. Don't expect a complex challenge but if you're looking for a game to break the routine, it can work.

Trifox is the epitome of the relaxing yet challenging action platformer. It's slightly nostalgic but original enough and it's twin stick shooter mechanics are real fun

Succeeding where last year's edition fell short, EA Sports FC 25 debuts without loud changes, but with a substantial number of updates that touch almost all of its countless game modes. The improvements made to Career Mode and Clubs were essential, while we were slightly disappointed with Rush and the overall lack of significant changes to Ultimate Team. However, what makes the game bright — and perhaps the most crucial aspect of a football game — is the slow, balanced gameplay with astonishing tactical depth that the Canadian studio managed to deliver this year.

A miracle? Against all expectations S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2 has really managed to resurrect the series, and without affecting its most important features, without betraying its philosophy. By remaining itself, S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2 reaffirms its uniqueness.

Forestrike merges action, strategy, and roguelite elements into a truly compelling formula. The ability to repeat battles as many times as you want to refine your strategy before actually implementing it is a very interesting concept and fully embodies the spirit of true martial arts. The replayability is excellent, although some technical and balancing issues are a pity.

This ninth episode is – finally – innovative and original, with a strange but appreciated focus on the boss fights. Sadly the winner, now more than ever, is chosen by fortune. A new starting point, that has to be polished in the next chapters. On WiiU, possibly.

Soul Calibur is an excellent beat'em-up, with a solid gameplay, great touch controls and graphics. What a pity it only comes with four short game modes and no multiplayer at all.

Escape from Tarkov is a game with many flaws and limitations. And yet, its formula — which helped lay the groundwork for the extraction shooter genre — is extremely addictive. It’s not a game for everyone, but in its 1.0 version it stands as an almost essential title for fans of the genre.

Even if Minotaur Rescue has its great moments, you shouldn't expect the same, disarming and hallucinogenic experience of the previous unforgettable Jeff Minter's games. Minotaur Rescue is a must-have for nostalgics of the Atari era: its control system is probably imperfect, but with some practice it proves to be entertaining and nicely chaotic. The new Llamasoft game is a true self-celebration that mirrors an old-time game developer and its golden era: Minter's followers will not be disappointed.

Sadly the multiplayer is the worst aspect of the entire game. And this is something you have to consider for a card game.

ArmA II: Operation Arrowhead comes with a nice single player campaign, a series of stand-alone missions, a nice online multiplayer mode and lots of weapons and vehicles. Unfortunately the AI doesn't work good, the characters animations are poor and the controls are the antithesis of immediacy.

LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean is not as good as the previous LEGO games. It's a good game, funny and entertaining as usual, but it's shorter, less varied and simpler than, for example, Clone Wars.

Pandora's Tower is some kind of a perfect example of what a small Japanese developer should do: a niche product with many interesting qualities and some kind of innovation to a starving genre. Some control issues and a disappointing graphical engine are the lows of an overall recommended game.

No Longer Home is evidently a heartfelt video game narration created with love by a duo that shared an important part of life. Unfortunately, its derivative nature and the briefness of the narration are the proponents of a missed empathic experience that could have hit harder than it does.

The best games from the two episodes of Nes Remix could have been used to create a fantastic experience. Instead, Nes Remix 2 shows the same problems of the first one: an inconsistent selection of some wonderful masterpieces and some other totally forgettable products from the Nes era.
