Dawn of Man is a good city builder, which is limited by its own concept.

The Nintendo Switch version of Bloodstained is certainly the worst, for an extraordinary game that deserves more.

The Alliance Alive is a charming JRPG with interesting characters, a gripping story and colorful visuals. Unfortunately, the combat system features many unique dynamics that never really shine and some uneven boss fights.

The technical problems that surround Loot River are undeniable. Yet, it is fascinating how we keep thinking about getting back in those flooded corridors as soon as possible. Facing a game that forces you to restart your run because the boss got stuck between platforms and now is, somehow, invincible, one would think that that game will be soon uninstalled. Yet, perfection is overvalued nowadays. We prefer those who dare.

ProtoCorgi starts with a very nice idea and implements it in an interesting way, but the end result appears only half successful. The solutions found by the developers regarding collision detection and enemy positioning, in fact, didn't click on us. Of course, at such a low price a scrolling shooter starring a corgi should be bought on principle.

Europa is Journey with Studio Ghibli style. It offers a nice, sweet and simple tale with smooth and accessible gameplay. It will appeal to fans of the genre, although it struggles to tell something personal considering how much it relies on its sources of inspiration.

Dino Path Trail is an interesting mix between a roguelike and a survival game, with an original setting and all the grit of the wild American frontier inhabited by dinosaurs. With a well-executed rhythm based on very intriguing shooting, dodging, reloading and collection times, Void Pointer's video game suffers from the excessive length of the individual runs and an interface that is sometimes unnecessarily complex even for the simplest operations. In the long run, some typical survival mechanics become tedious, but when you hit the right match the feeling of being unbeatable is very satisfying.

Katamari Forever looks like too much like its old gen previous titles, but it's always very fun to play. New character, new planets and new challenges make Katamari a long lasting game, but we have to say that the lack of a multiplayer mode is such a shame.

Like its WiiWare version, LostWinds represents a rare example of balance between digital poetry and gaming values, mood and fun. Unfortunately, this iOS edition shows some flaws in terms of controls but it's still a solid platform-adventure and an enjoyable little fable.

Beautifully crafted environment and a special feeling throughout the game are the main positive aspects in Dive: The Medes Islands Secret. With exploration in its purest form, the gameplay is a little too oversimplified but for a relaxing experience in the deepness of the sea this game can be a good choice.

Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles has a charming world to show in its different biomes. It's a wonderful way to practice some escapism but ultimately feels like something is missing to be a compelling videogame.

One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3 is a great debut on PlayStation 4. The proposed contents are indeed many and Omega Force has matured as much as possible in the musou genre with a very spectacular result that does justice to the spirit of the manga. Technically is not so impressive and the action is somewhat repetitive, but the system Kizuna Rush works and is a real pleasure to see our heroes join forces, while the exaggerated number of characters and events that recover the series from the beginning is a true feast for the hardcore fans.

Nano Assault EX is a showcase of the hardware of the 3DS, of the 3D effect, and of the talent of Shin'en. But it's also a great shoot'em up, with many diverse sections, adrenalinic and strategic, in which the difficulty ramps up very nicely.

Tiny Invaders is a decent action puzzler, with a good number of levels and a good progression in terms of challenge, extra items and actions you can do. The problem is there are so many other excellent puzzle games in the App Store and this one doesn't have what it takes to shine.
