Pirates Outlaws is a very derivative but well-crafted roguelike card game. Its greatest strength is the amount of content and variety, which will keep players eager to try new characters and regions glued for many hours. The battle system is the one familiar to fans of Slay the Spire and similar games, and luck plays a big role, but most of the time it is fun to set off on an ambush.

We do not doubt that this formula could also be the ideal starting point for continuous updating, but it seems less inclined to bend to the crazy and unpredictable mechanics that have arrived on Vampire Survivors over time.

The last iteration of Dead or Alive 5 provides lots of content, but the game is basically the same we played in 2012, with only minor changes: a couple of new characters, a couple of new stages and lots of extra costumes, some of which leave nothing to the imagination.

Dimps Corporation had the not-so-easy task to release a sequel without making a remake out of it, keeping it trustful to the original game design while adding new features. As a result, Sonic 4 has its ups and downs and does not stand the top quality of the Mega Drive age Sonic. Nevertheless, Sonic 4: Episode 1 is much more "Sonic" than the latest entries in the franchise, a must-have for the hedgehog's fans and all those unlucky players who never ran in those fancy red shoes.

Evoland 2 is a rollercoaster through the history of videogames. Full of witty dialogues and gaming reference, it will be loved by the old school gamers. Otherwise some controls issue prevent him to reach perfection.

Sundered is a metroidvania game half-backed. It lacks in variety and has some flaws tied to the combat system.

Though it's paved with courage and good intentions, the road of experimentation in videogames hides many, too many pitfalls. Ivy the Kiwi? comes as a fresh, delicate and dreamy experience, it's supported by a series of nice artistic choices and furthermore the price is very affordable. The downside, in the Wii version, is represented by the controls, that sometimes may ask you more speed and accuracy of what the Wii-mote is capable of.

Pro Cycling Manager - Tour De France 2011 comes to us with better collisions, better animations and a new system of sponsorship. The result is a believable cycling simulation, still not perfect but way better than previous chapters.

Ghosts' n Goblins Resurrection is a tribute to the classic Capcom game: a reinterpretation that rejects modernizations, mixes elements from the two original episodes and connects everything using difficulty as a glue.

Ara tries to reinvent the 4X wheel with a really exciting gameplay system. However, it lacks dynamism, a more interesting diplomatic and trade system and a bit of nastiness that makes us feel the political and social weight of our choices. If they raise it well, it can become an unforgettable game.

It's hard to separate the two souls of Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1, because it's glaringly obvious how the one put together by Konami is a mere commercial operation, but at the same time it represents the only way to play a series of great classics of undeniable value.

New careers and an improved system of relationships allow us to make the night a new ground of interaction. For the ones who don't desire to lose themselves behind the social aspect of the game, the additions are limited and generally not to the height of those introduced in the previous two expansions.
