Dordogne had enchanted us with his beautiful watercolors, able to fully represent the open, sunny and carefree spirit of the French countryside of the southwest, lulled by the calm and quiet waters of the Dordogne River. Unfortunately, however, the adventures of Mimi turned out to be very uninspiring, both from the point of view of the plot (all in all forgettable) and the gameplay, confined to minigames of mediocre quality.

Forgive Me Father is not a bad game and knows how to give good moments, which will surely be appreciated by fans of the genre to which it belongs, that of vintage first-person shooters. Too bad that the many ingenuities of the development team are evident, which failed to avoid some design shortcuts or the use of some not-so-exceptional gimmicks to put the player in difficulty. All in all, you might tolerate them, but they certainly keep them from excelling.

Pac-Man World 2 Re-Pac is the second chapter of a broader recovery operation, one aimed at reviving the main installments of the franchise in three dimensions and making them accessible once again, enriched with a technical sector worthy of modern times and enough additional content to spark the interest of a wide audience (or at least not to disappoint it, since the comparison with contemporary video games arises spontaneously). In this case, the developers at Now Production have done a good job, introducing into the main structure a whole series of improvements, variations, and aesthetic additions that, in most cases, have benefitted it. The game itself remains what it was back then, with its strengths and weaknesses (among the latter, mainly a not-so-exciting level design and a constant sense of déjà vu). However, thanks to a fair price and the success of the modernization itself, we can’t help but recommend giving the yellow ball a chance.

By the time it reaches its conclusion, Lost Records: Bloom & Rage feels like a missed opportunity. What begins with such a compelling and intriguing premise is rooted in a mystery that, over the course of the hours needed to complete the adventure, never becomes truly engaging, fails to surprise, and gradually loses its edge as the story unfolds. The game's real intention lies elsewhere: to tell the story of a friendship, a drama that is sadly human, and to explore a dual timeline, where past and present ultimately never truly connect. It could have been a powerful tale of coming-of-age and friendship, had it been written with more honesty.

The map is highly detailed, and exploring its countryside and incredible Ayleid ruins was enjoyable. The overall difficulty in the open world is slightly higher compared to the rest of the game world. Mafia: Terra Madre is a clear return to the roots of the series, crafted by the skilled and inventive hands of the team at Hangar 13. It’s a linear action-adventure, built on open-world foundations that aim to strike the best possible balance in every aspect of its gameplay and technical performance. There's nothing truly innovative in its mechanics, nor anything particularly original in its mafia story, which leans heavily on cinematic overtones and is enriched by the classic clichés of the genre. That said, there’s no doubt the full package works: it offers exactly what one would expect from a production of this type, especially when you consider its production values and, most of all, the price it's being sold at. You run, you shoot, you hide, and you experience a solid, parabolic tale of a poor miner who climbs the ranks of a Cosa Nostra family over a dozen intense, enjoyable, and ultimately fun hours—even if never truly memorable.
