Overall, “The Plucky Squire” is an amazing, imaginative experience that showcases the magic of storytelling in a way that’s rarely seen in games. Its unique 2D-to-3D mechanic is more than a novelty; it’s a fundamental part of the gameplay that enhances the experience, making it both memorable and enjoyable. The game’s art, music, and concept come together beautifully, creating a world that feels alive and inviting. While it has minor flaws, such as occasional difficulty spikes and some graphical glitches, these issues are small in comparison to the charm and creativity on display. For players seeking a fresh, story-driven experience, “The Plucky Squire” is a must-play that will leave you smiling from start to finish.

Kvark is really its own beast, embracing the boomer shooter spirit without getting bogged down in the past. If you’re up for some chaotic fun, this game delivers in spades. After all the gunfire and mayhem, maybe take a moment to chat with the locals, they might have some wild stories about their world that go beyond the game.

Besiege Console has a fun experimental edge and tough physics-based mechanics. I loved building crazy machines to complete each level. However, I struggled with the floppy controls. Furthermore, it felt a little hectic and too much luck and not enough judgement. This wasn't my cup of tea, but lovers of the genre will fall for its charms.

Overall, Railroad Corporation 2 is a great choice for fans of the tycoon genre, showcasing impressive attention to detail. It’s a game that requires patience and dedication, rewarding players who dive into its systems. While it might not be my favourite, I can see the effort and creativity that went into it. If you’re looking for a challenging tycoon experience, this game could be just what you need. Just be ready for the complexities that come with it.

Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- Sweep the Board! doesn't hit the heights that I expected. The eye for detail isn't there and there is a lack of balance. Furthermore, it can be tiresome when you play against the computer. It was a shame as I hoped for much more.

Personally, I am not too attached to Burnhouse Lane. The chapters do not flow together well, the gameplay is sluggish, and the motifs are overly off-putting. However, the visual design is something to behold and the voice-acting is a great touch. The characters are dynamic and ever-evolving and the atmosphere will certainly get players into a dark, Halloween-ready mood.

Bloodhound is a classic FPS with an old-school appeal. Furthermore, it is gory, brutal, and unbelievably loud. I adored the soundtrack and the mindless action. However, a lack of replay value and the clunky controls may drive you mad.

Mission: Rift Seeker is a game that has launched in early access. The game has solid fundamentals and is a fun colony simulation game. The game teaches you how to start your base and gives you a solid foundation with room to experiment and learn how to let your seekers thrive. However, for a game that revolves around sending your minions to do things, I wish I had more control over my seekers. I also wish things in the game were more clear about how they worked. For those looking for a colony simulation game, this is one to keep track of, as it’s still in early access. In its current state, it is a game that I can’t recommend at the moment. [Early Access Provisional Score = 60]

Fitness Boxing Feat. Hatsune Miku is held back by a few practical problems that come with using Switch controllers, but it has enough charm to keep you off the sofa. Oddly fun, and a treat for anyone into Vocaloids.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants Unleashed is a 3D beat-'em-up that is ideal for younger gamers. It is colourful, loud, and silly. However, it outstays its welcome and older gamers will become tired. This divisive approach wasn't great and it will appeal to a niche audience.

In the end, Sonic x Shadow generations is a must-have for Sonic fans. Sonic Generations remains one of the best Sonic games of all time, and the addition of Shadow Generations elevates this package to a whole new level. The new mechanics and collectibles in Shadow’s adventure add depth and replay-ability, while the visual upgrades and refined hub world make it clear that SEGA has learned from its past mistakes, especially when compared to Sonic Frontiers. This is a perfect time to hop in and catch up on Shadows story before the release of Sonic the Hedgehog 3 movie later this year.

Grapple Dogs: Cosmic Canines is an exceptional sequel that doesn't disappoint. It is witty, enjoyable, and wonderfully balanced. The introduction of a new protagonist adds energy. Furthermore, the reliance on traditional mechanics makes this a familiar and comfortable game to play. If you love the original or classic platforming games, you won't want to miss out.

PowerWash Simulator - Shrek Special Pack is a fun but time consuming DLC. This colourful fantasy affair is wonderful to play. Yet, if you tackle it alone, you must be prepared to invest plenty of hours. Furthermore, the mechanics do not change and this will keep hardcore fans happy.

Plastomorphosis is a dated horror title that incorporates puzzle elements. Furthermore, it is filled with traditional jump scares and loads of lore. However, the janky controls and fixed camera will annoy plenty of people. If you can overlook the dated visuals and the occasionally annoying mechanics, you'll enjoy a nostalgia-infused horror game.

SUNSOFT is Back Retro Game Selection is a niche product that will not impress everyone. However, if you love old-school gaming and you wish to play never-before released in the West games, then don't miss out. This collection is nicely varied and wonderfully dated. Yet, I'm not sure if it is a few decades too late for this experience.

TRANSFORMERS: Galactic Trials is a fun hybrid racer that will appeal to younger gamers. The fast-paced race elements can be enjoyed by 1 or 2 players. Alongside this, you'll tackle run-and-gun layers as you work your way to the finish line. This bizarre combination will annoy purists, but lovers of the franchise will not care. Though it doesn't excel, it is a decent fantasy racing title.

Nick Jr Party Adventure is a simple puzzle experience for younger gamers. The familiar characters and colourful settings will appeal to primary school children. Additionally, you can play this together if your child struggles with the larger and more complex stages. Unfortunately, the pre-release version has some issues. However, I have been assured that these will be resolved. Accordingly, my score is based on this understanding.

WitchSpring R is a thoughtful, deep and meaningful story which tells a tale of discovering oneself along with the perils of religion and bigotry. Pieberry is an engaging, thought-provoking protagonist who by journey’s end I had come to care for. Solid combat and great RPG mechanics and levelling systems helped keep me invested. It’s a shame that some areas felt too much of a slog at times and the sheer level of menus on offer can feel overwhelming. Visuals are mostly great and an absolutely stunning soundtrack and design help the game really feel unique. Charming is the word that just keeps coming to my mind when I think of this game.

Dead Season is a tough and cruel strategy title. This brutal streak will put many gamers off, but if you are willing to work hard, you will get a lot out of this strategy affair. Stick to the basics and work past the obstacles to get the most out this zombie experience.

Sylvio: Black Waters is a unique experience that thrives on atmosphere, making it perfect for players who enjoy slow-burn, psychological horror. Its haunting visuals and masterful sound design create an experience that stays with you long after playing. However, its repetitive gameplay and underwhelming combat mechanics may detract from the overall experience for some. Despite these flaws, the game’s story and world-building make it a compelling choice for fans of unsettling, atmospheric horror.

Let me make it clear that I am no fan of Rouge-likes or Rouge-lites and I certainly have not watched a second of Fairy Tail, but still, I had a blast with this one. Now take that as you will but as far as I am concerned, Fairy Tail: Dungeons is a recommendation from me.

SpongeBob SquarePants: The Patrick Star Game is perfect for younger gamers. It is childish, colourful, and very amusing. Enjoy exploring Bikini Bottom as you help each key protagonist. Clean up rubbish, search for jars of mayo, or just relax in this large underwater haven. Sadly, there are some visual issues and this undermines the finish.
