The forbidden city of Akratya is an unforgiving land that cannot be conquered alone. Bind with fallen warriors found throughout your crusade and dynamically transform between the characters seamlessly mid-combat with the unique 4-hero party system.

Deathbound does enough to make for an interesting playthrough, and this is largely down to the new features and the introduction of the Essences, which adds a whole new dimension to the familiar gameplay.

Deathbound is a party-based souls-like that twists tried and tested mechanics. It works mostly, but there are shortcomings that will frustrate veterans. However, I loved the aesthetics and lore-riddled world.
