Slayers X truly is a throwback to the past. For players seeking a retro arcade shooter, all the ingredients are here but with added vulgarity and punk rock mayhem. This is never going to blow people away with its gameplay and visuals but it doesn’t care and I can truly admire a game that just wants to have fun. Whilst the story is forgettable, the soundtrack kept me wanting to replay levels just to hear those songs again. In a gaming world where developers are constantly trying to iterate and innovate, it is bizarrely refreshing to experience a game that is so old school. See you in the 90’s!- Movies Games and Tech

B Project Ryusei Fantasia is a standout visual novel that transcends the genre’s typical boundaries. Its vibrant visuals, compelling story, and intricate character interactions create an experience that is both entertaining and emotionally engaging. For those who enjoy narrative-driven games, this title offers a rich tapestry of choices and consequences that make each playthrough unique. Even if visual novels aren’t usually your style, “B Project” is worth exploring for its captivating depiction of the idol industry and the meaningful relationships it fosters. Whether you’re a fan of the genre or a newcomer, this game has something special to offer.- Movies Games and Tech

PowerWash Simulator: Alice's Adventures is a fine addition to the Powerwash franchise. This acid-trip-infused cleaning experience is relaxing and captivating. Moreover, it is great fun when playing with friends. However, a solo cleaner may find the large levels tiring to clean.- Movies Games and Tech

The gameplay is fast and enjoyable, the variety of weapons and enemies is very good, but the high speed of giving weapons to the player so early, the lack of balance in their power and other problems in the gameplay make it not very enjoyable.- Movies Games and Tech

Mr Prepper: Animal Farm DLC is a great addition to the base game. However, it doesn't tackle the issues I previously experienced. This was frustrating as the developer should have tightened things up. Yet, if you can ignore these problems, you'll enjoy the aliens and the farming-related madness.- Movies Games and Tech

Stolen Hearts: Wolf Knight is a precision platformer that is tough but fair. Furthermore, the gameplay evolves as you absorb the power of each creature you kill. This added mechanic changes the way you think and the surrounding world. However, if you lack patience, this won't be the game for you.- Movies Games and Tech

The game does suffer from performance issues and a lack of variety, which may affect long-term replay-ability. However, for its price point, “Sky Survivors” is a worthwhile addition to any Switch owner’s library, especially for those looking for a quick and satisfying gaming experience during short journeys or flights.- Movies Games and Tech

Nuke Them All is a very good game. It’s a fast-paced, strategic brawl that thrives on chaos. However, if you’re looking for an RTS that prioritizes action over base building, “Nuke Them All” delivers a frantic and engaging experience. The streamlined mechanics make it easy to jump into, and the strategic depth, coupled with the unexpected events, keeps matches exciting. While the single-player and lack of online multiplayer are shortcomings, “Nuke Them All” earns its place on your RTS shelf with its frantic action, strategic core, and quirky charm.- Movies Games and Tech

If I was to sum up my time and thoughts on The Land Beneath Us, I would say it has been addictive and absorbing. With the roguelite mechanics, every time I died my first thought was, ‘I’m going back for more!’ The unique twist on turn-based combat made me love plotting my movements and attacking my foes. It’s a wonderful showcase on innovative combat design. Whilst there are some frustrations with sound design and some issues with movement sensitivity, this game is more than worth your while. Great visuals, character design and a strong soundtrack help see this game home. A great indie game for a steal of a price. See you in the underworld!- Movies Games and Tech

After the Fall is a solid VR shooter that delivers a thrilling, albeit repetitive, experience. A detailed and wonderful story that sometimes may have long and unnecessary conversations. The gameplay is fun and it’s an interesting combination of real-time combat and turn-based combat, but the real-time part is not so entertaining and the long cutscenes makes the gameplay little. Lovely art design but the textures are very low in detail. The soundtracks are great. Overall, this game is great and its problems can be ignored.- Movies Games and Tech

Alaskan Road Truckers: Highway Edition doesn't break with tradition. Accordingly, fans of trucking games will enjoy what they experience. Sadly, this is a niche audience and other gamers will be disappointed. The visuals are rough, and the gameplay is too restrictive. I really enjoyed my time with Bred and Fred, but the single player mode really makes it a more frustrating experience than it needs to be. This is a title that I can highly recommend if you have someone who wouldn’t mind sitting down and putting a couple of hours into it with you. Otherwise, I highly recommend that you prepare yourself for a frustrating time as you throw a rock around in efforts to achieve the same results as someone else who has a competent partner with them.- Movies Games and Tech

Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail is a tale of two halves. On the story front, it might be one of the weaker stories for the MMO. Wuk Lamat is an overbearing main character who is illogical at times. None of the other new characters stand out, and fan favorites from previous expansions don’t significantly impact the story. On the other hand, the dungeons and trials are some of the most fun I’ve had in the game. Both new classes are a blast, and the graphics update adds a nice touch to the game. Fans of the story might be disappointed, especially after Endwalker and Shadowbringers. This expansion delivers on all fronts for players looking to grind new content.- Movies Games and Tech
