The Renovator: Origins is a fun horror experience. However, it is a little cliched and some of the puzzles were annoying to solve. Yet, I liked the timing of the jump scares and the grim visuals. If you want a horror title that is uncomfortable, this could tick that box.

KARMA: The Dark World is a bold and thought-provoking experience that excels in storytelling, atmosphere, and immersive world-building. While it may not appeal to those looking for fast-paced action, it is a must-play for fans of psychological thrillers and dystopian narratives.

Memory Adventure in the Jungle is about as exciting as watching paint dry. It deserves to be left in the past where it belongs.

Wonderfully smooth and frantic combat is the glue that holds Reignbreaker together. It's got a great aesthetic, if a little samey at times, but works hard to keeps things fresh, even if the progression is strangely gated.

Potionomics is an interesting hybrid experience that surprised me. Though it can be tough to spin many plates, the result is a rewarding and challenging fantasy game. Moreover, the dialogue is fun and I loved the setting.

Train Sim World VR New York is an immersive train driving experience. Though there are some minor detail issues, I enjoyed the arcade-style gameplay and the sense of realism. This is a great step in the right direction and I can see the VR landscape evolving nicely as a consequence.

The First Berserker: Khazan is a breath of fresh air in the Soulslike genre. While it carries the core elements that fans expect, it distinguishes itself with enough unique ideas to feel new and exciting. As I mentioned, I’m not amazing at these types of games, and I definitely struggled at times, but I never felt disheartened or that the game was unfairly difficult. In some cases, my own playstyle might have made things harder—I often prioritized fashion over optimal stats—but that only added to the personal challenge and enjoyment. Whether you’re drawn to the game for its rewarding combat, gripping story, or immersive world, it delivers a near-perfect combination of all three. It’s an experience well worth trying, no matter what aspect of the genre you love most.

Mullet Madjack is a tough but enjoyable FPS. Time is not on your side and killing every robot is the only way to survive. The action is cruel, uncomfortable, but brilliantly addictive. It is unusual and a break from the norm. However, this is one title that I absolutely adore!

For all its predictability in terms of plot, Inayah – Life after Gods is still a fun, engaging title that proves gameplay can often make up for what the story lacks. Whether you’re in it for the upgrades or the challenge, there’s something undeniably addictive about this game that will keep you hooked long after the credits roll.

Illusion of L'Phalcia is a decent old-school RPG with a polished dated aesthetic. Unlike some of its peers, this is challenging and will test your tactical mindset.

AI Limit is, at best, an okay Soulslike experience. The combat provides some enjoyable moments, especially when experimenting with different weapons, but the game is ultimately held back by its uninspired world and weak main story. If you’re a die-hard fan of the genre and are willing to overlook its shortcomings, you might find something to enjoy here. But for most players, AI Limit fails to stand out in a sea of better, and now cheaper alternatives.

Spilled! is a calm and simple indie game. The rudimentary imagery and wholesome audio work particularly well. Furthermore, the gameplay is refined but fun. My only complaint is it isn't long enough.

Sonokuni is a manic trip boasting fun, frantic combat. The boss fights don't do it justice, however.

Ultimately, Driving is Hard is a game that will test your limits and perhaps make you question why you keep trying. But for those who enjoy that kind of masochistic fun, the rewards, both in terms of gameplay and absurdity, are worth the struggle. So, buckle up (or don’t, it’s hard either way) and give it a go, but be prepared for the ride of your life.

Pinball FX Volume 8 is a retro pinball experience. This small DLC adds 3 tables to the base game. However, gamers will need to dip their hand in their pocket to get the most from this title. The 3 tables on offer are interesting and challenging. Furthermore, despite the limited content, it is addictive.

These games aren’t long and the beauty in my opinion is failing, learning and getting farther and farther every time. But as a time capsule of mid-‘90s game design and a long-lost piece of gaming history, Rendering Ranger: R² is a must-play for anyone who loves retro action games. It’s a reminder of an era when developers pushed hardware to its limits, delivering experiences that still hold up decades later. If you missed it the first time around, now’s your chance to experience a lost gem that truly deserves its cult status at a more than fair price.

Asdivine Dios is a familiar and old-school RPG with a battle-heavy focus! Though I found this tedious, I loved the magical boss battles. Moreover, the plot was great. If you love retro gaming, you will enjoy this 15 to 18-hour experience.

Would I recommend it? Absolutely. The joy of solving puzzles together, the rich fantasy world, and the rewarding teamwork elements make Split Fiction a game that stands out in the co-op genre. Weather you’re enjoying the game with a partner who isn’t typically into gaming, or a friend that you’ve been gaming with for years, this is one of the best options out there.

It is very hard to out right recommend or shun the game. Is it the next Hotline Miami? no. But did I have fun, and laughed out loud? Yes. If you want the experience of borderlands humour at its peak and a challenging combat experience then you can pick up “Memory Lost” on steam right now.

If you’re looking for a brief, no-pressure game for kids or just want a quick trip down memory lane, Frips and Froops offer that. But beyond that, there’s not much else to sink your teeth into. So, while it’s not groundbreaking, it’s still a harmless, if brief, experience.

Snezhinka overall ends up being a truly mixed bag. It has a muddling story that tries to make things emotional and serious but fails to achieve this, but it also has some fantastic gameplay that keeps you invested enough to see out the short tale. Coupled with fantastic visual design, and truly superb sound design and score, there’s enough here for the player to sink their teeth into for a few hours. I’m just left wondering what truly could have been if everything had come together. See you on the battlefield!

Centum is not a game for everyone, but for those who appreciate psychological horror, esoteric storytelling, and challenging puzzles, it’s a must-play. With its eerie atmosphere, thought-provoking design, and compelling mystery, Centum proves that horror doesn’t need to rely on cheap tricks to be truly terrifying. If you’re looking for a game that will haunt you long after the credits roll, Centum is worth your time. Note that I only want to include screenshots from the very first scenes as they portray the style and atmosphere that is set throughout the experience without spoiling anything ahead of you if you wish to experience it yourself.

Eternal Strands is a stellar addition to the action-adventure genre. Its captivating world, innovative mechanics, and engaging narrative combine to create an experience that is both immersive and rewarding. As someone who thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of the game, I can confidently say that the only reason Eternal Strands is being held back from a perfect score is only a few minor details. Highly recommend the entry to anyone seeking a rich and fulfilling adventure. My personal game of the year contender so far.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows delivers a visually stunning, immersive experience with dynamic gameplay changes through its seasons, dual-character system, and engaging combat mechanics. While the loot system may not be for everyone, and story choices don’t always have significant consequences, the game still offers plenty of depth and rewarding exploration. Whether you’re here for the stealth, the samurai combat, or the world-building, Shadows provides a solid entry in the Assassin’s Creed franchise.

While it could entertain for a short while, it lacks the depth or innovation needed to keep players invested in the long term. If you’re looking for something fresh or groundbreaking, The Executive likely won’t scratch that itch. It’s a perfectly fine experience, but one that’s all too familiar, and in this oversaturated market, that’s simply not enough to make it stand out.

Despite its shortcomings, Atelier Yumia still offers a fun and engaging experience, especially for fans of the series and alchemy mechanics. The story, UI, and animations are definite highlights, and the synthesis system remains a strong point. I will recommend this to anyone that wants to chill, gather, craft and switch off for a while. However, the poor world design, redundant mechanics, and unbalanced progression prevent it from reaching the heights of its predecessors.
