  • Summary: Boasting an epic RPG story, an expansive world, treasure filled dungeons, exciting turn-based battles, weapon creation, and more, Asdivine Dios has a ton of things the classic RPG fan wants. Plus, limitless enemies and loot, a multitude of subquests, and challenging boss battles.

Asdivine Dios is a familiar and old-school RPG with a battle-heavy focus! Though I found this tedious, I loved the magical boss battles. Moreover, the plot was great. If you love retro gaming, you will enjoy this 15 to 18-hour experience.

There are better KEMCO games out there – Asdivine Hearts and Revenant Saga for example – but there is fun to be had here, at least if you can look past the vaguely incestuous romantic angle.

Asdivine Dios' presentation doesn’t have too much that stands out, and the visuals and sound design will be something you’ve experiencedAsdivine Dios' presentation doesn’t have too much that stands out, and the visuals and sound design will be something you’ve experienced before, but there's noting wrong here either. The Asdivine series has provided a few enjoyable moments along the way, It still seems that this series is KEMCO’s weakest collection of games, yet still worthy of your time and play-through. Despite this though I still had quite a lot of interest in Asdivine Dios because as I’m quite a fan of KEMOCO's work and its offerings for the Xbox One family of consoles. Asdivine Dios is the best of the series so far because the story felt much more immersive and interesting in this installment. It is however not the perfect experience and you will have to deal with a lack of depth in the gameplay and you’ll also have to deal with very basic visual and sound design. If you can look past these issues then you’ll find a game that is enjoyable while involved in the game’s RPG combat. There is also decent amount of content for you to play as well, with a decent amount of variety present throughout. Asdivine Dios may be a little easy for some RPG fans, but I found it to be fun and challenging enough to keep playing until the end of the journey. Again I have to give props to KEMCO for releasing so many RPGs of the Xbox One. I look forward to their next release likely in the same genre as Asdivine Dios. Expand
