Despite the drastic name change, EA Sports FC 24 doesn't represent a revolution but rather a new step forward in EA Sports' football series, with many new features and some unexpected optimisation issues. But despite the lack of courage in offering a truly innovative experience, it still remains the best choice for all soccer game fans.- MondoXbox

Jusant is a gem to see and play; coherent, delicate, thoughtful. The splendid art direction, coupled with a fascinating and magnetic world building, clashes with a limited gameplay layering and a short overall length, but if you love narrative adventures and poetic and inspired game worlds, you will definitely want to play it.- MondoXbox

Hot Wheels Unleashed 2: Turbocharged follows the footsteps of the first episode, expanding the formula and offering a full-bodied package, packed with content, cars, and plenty of arcade-style fun. The absence of more acrobatic tracks in true Hot Wheels style is noticeable, but it is still a very entertaining arcade racer.- MondoXbox

Ghostrunner 2 takes a big step forward compared to the first game, in all respects: quality, variety, longevity, and game design. A title that is finally mature and capable of entertaining from start to finish, with tough but well-balanced challenges in which the player feels closer to success with each new attempt. Too bad for a somewhat foggy story and some inaccuracies in the controls, but if you want a challenging game that tests your reflexes, it definitely deserves your attention.- MondoXbox

Sword Art Online: Last Recollection is the worthy conclusion, narrative-wise, of the SAO Gamerverse, with continuous twists and turns and the presence of many memorable characters. Unfortunately, on a gameplay level the many mechanics introduced are of little use, and even on a technical level it doesn't impress, also presenting several quality-of-life flaws. It is in all respects a title to be played solely for the plot, dedicated to those who enjoyed the previous chapters.- MondoXbox

Bud Spencer & Terence Hill: Slaps And Beans 2 is a solid, fun and rewarding title as well as a true love letter to the two cult actors. If you're looking for a side-scrolling fighting game that will entertain you with pleasure, this one might just have all the credentials to win you over.- MondoXbox

NHL 24 represents a welcome step forward for the series, with new offensive and defensive game dynamics that raise the simulation level of the series, an excellent implementation of cross-play support, and a very satisfying HUT mode that can be enjoyed even by those who don't want to spend extra money.- MondoXbox

Lies of P is an excellent souls-like game, not particularly original and that could be improved in some aspects, but nonetheless capable of keeping the player glued to the screen thanks to a top-quality combat system, a well-structured progress system and an engaging story full of references to Collodi's novel that serves as a fascinating steampunk world backdrop. A game that all lovers of the genre should try, maybe taking advantage of its presence in the Xbox Game Pass.- MondoXbox

Assassin's Creed Mirage represents a welcome throwback for the series to a dynamic and fascinating urban setting, providing a good amount of content and a welcome new focus on stealth components. What it lacks is a splash in graphical quality and greater depth at the narrative level (including the modern sections, which are completely absent here). The road taken, or rather retaken, is a good one, however, and we hope Ubisoft has further titles in development in this vein.- MondoXbox

Forza Motorsport is back in the best possible way, thanks to a simply fabulous technical achievement, a rewarding and tremendously exciting driving model, and plenty of new features that manage to modernize the entire racing game genre; the RPG-like development system is superb, and the system that penalizes players who race unfairly in online competitions is excellent. Yet another love letter from Turn 10 to the world of racing, and it is bound to make you completely fall in love with it.- MondoXbox

Mortal Kombat 1 is the perfect entry point for newcomers to the series, while at the same time winking at veterans with constant references and familiar situations. Also outstanding are the design and gameplay twists on historical characters, as well as the novelty of the Kameo successfully paving the way for new strategies and mechanics. An excellent fighting game, recommended both to fans and to those who want to approach the saga for the first time.- MondoXbox

The gameplay crafted by Ascendant Studios, albeit without any particular creative flourishes, is fun and involving for the entire duration of the adventure, supported by a script that, despite some unoriginal writing and sometimes too childish dialogues, contributes to keeping the title enjoyable from start to finish. An FPS that, also due to optimisation problems, fails to express its potential, but is nevertheless able to provide a few hours of fun to all lovers of the genre.- MondoXbox

The Crew Motorfest manages to entertain with an incredible range of vehicles, beautiful scenery and a large number of races, but the sense of déjà vu compared to Forza Horizon 5 is constant and it should have dared more to escape from the shadow of Playground Games' title. Too bad, also, for some choices that undermine its essence, such as the inclusion of more simulative elements in a purely arcade context or the impossibility of using our own vehicles in playlist races.- MondoXbox

NBA 2K24 brings back the excellent on-court experience the series has accustomed us to, with major improvements in player animations thanks to the new ProPLAY technology. There is, however, a need for stronger new features and, above all, it is plagued by obnoxious microtransactions even in modes that shouldn't have them, such as MyCareer.- MondoXbox

Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon marks the grand return of a saga that had been missing for way too long. A faithful episode to its predecessors but, at the same time, more modern and accessible, even if some difficulty balancing problems can make it frustrating for newbies. It remains, however, recommended both to historical fans and to those who want to approach the series for the first time.- MondoXbox

Daymare 1998: Sandcastle has several good qualities; it is a clear homage to the classic survival horror games that made the history of our medium, but it loses itself in wanting to offer us a challenge that is way too difficult, almost punishing, ending up being excessively frustrating.- MondoXbox

RIDE 5 reflects Milestone's great passion for the bike world very well. The amount of content, circuits, and bikes is admirable, the new Career mode is huge while the Race Creator further extends a longevity that shows no weaknesses, and lastly the bikes convey a truly satisfying feeling. Without any doubts, this is the best motorbike simulator in a long time, a must for all fans.- MondoXbox

Starfield can be summed up in one word: immense. Immense for the quantity and quality of stories it delivers, immense for the number of different activities it makes possible, immense like the galaxy it allows us to explore. Bethesda's new RPG will make you live a great sci-fi adventure, exploring hundreds of planets, admiring beautiful sceneries, and granting you many emotions, all at your own pace and making you live the adventure the way you want. If you are fascinated by space exploration and love narrative-focused experiences, this is an absolute must-have.- MondoXbox

Stray is a charming 'cat adventure' that succeeds in making us identify with the little feline protagonist and in making us experience its beautiful world from the point of view of this agile creature. The interesting story could have had a better ending and some sections are a little too tiring or repetitive, but if you like original and different titles, and especially if you love cats, this is definitely a game to try.- MondoXbox

Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew is a very entertaining game that, although not without some control flaws, kept us entertained for several hours. If you are a fan of tactical titles and have enjoyed games such as Commandos or Desperados, this game is definitely for you, but fans of the stealth genre will also find plenty to like. All in all, an excellent game that everyone should give a chance to.- MondoXbox

With well-calibrated gameplay and a truly evocative setting, The Valiant has the potential to find a second youth on consoles, succeeding in offering everyone the right level of challenge and achieving good results with a controller. Diablo IV is the perfect evolution of the series. The many new features make for a truly modern title, giving us an experience capable of keeping us glued to the controller for many hours, without neglecting the historical and most beloved features of the series. If we add to this a technical aspect of the highest quality, a very accessible multiplayer structure, and a huge end-game, we obtain a majestic title that stands as the best exponent of the action-RPG genre and is capable of bringing us plenty of emotions.- MondoXbox

F1 23 further improves a franchise that had already shown it had winning cards in its hand. The perfect calibratability between the rigorous simulation and a more permissive driving model allows everyone to make the most of it, and Braking Point 2 and the F1 World are two very worthwhile goodies. The driving model, the excellent graphics, the range of options, and a very well executed multiplayer make the EA title a must-have for all motorsport fans.- MondoXbox

Layers of Fear is an excellent repackaging of the original games, with a considerable graphical leap, benefitting the atmosphere and the level of immersion. We rediscover, enriched with new content, distressing stories and environments that seem sprung from the mind of a madman, with a gameplay that remains anchored to the narrative adventure mechanics. Even if we don't find major structural improvements, it remains recommended to lovers of the genre.- MondoXbox
