Tennis World Tour feels too incomplete and detached from a real tennis experience to be at least satisfying. A good Career structure and nice graphics aren't enough to counterbalance the bad gameplay and a lack of essential modes, like online support and Doubles.

A unique racer, with a fun and adrenalinic gameplay mixing elements from some of the best multiplayer games out there. Too bad it's quite lacking in content.

MotoGP 18 feels almost like reboot for Milestone's series, thanks to a brand new engine and renewed driving model and play modes. It looks like the devs didn't have enough time to completely fulfill their vision though, and we're left with a good game but with wide margins for improvement.

A unique, though short, experience, completely different from anything else and with impressive creative and artistic values. If you like puzzle games, especially the more brilliant ones, Gorogoa is an absolute must buy.

Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon fully captures gameplay and feeling of the original Castlevanias, keeping many of their drawbacks too, though. It's still a very enjoyable game for the lovers of the classic games, and a nice diversion while waiting for Ritual of the Night.

Aragami: shadow Edition brings us a satisfying old-school stealth game, where crouch walking and stealth kills are coupled to interesting mystical shadow powers. Unluckily some performance problems, a bit too basic graphics and somewhat imprecise controls detract a bit from it potential value.

Agony focuses too heavily on the macabre and sexual elements of its very oppressive hell, forgetting to provide good gameplay to sustain the entire experience. Add this to a plethora of bugs and all kinds of problems, and you'll understand why we can't really recommend it to anyone.

oOo: Ascension brings a new perspective on the 2D platformer genre, with an inspired level design and a challenging and captivating gameplay. Too bad for the lack of online leaderboards.

Serious Sam lovers will like seeing their beloved characters (and enemies) in a new game genre, but the good gameplay ideas quickly evaporate in a too repetitive and unevenly difficult experience.

Yoku's Island Express is a small, highly creative, indie gem. You'll be delighted by its great art and fresh, innovative and compelling gameplay supported by an excellent open world, metroidvania-ish level design. A must have for lovers of good games and 2D platform adventures.

The interesting premise of a nordic horror adventure ends up being partially ruined by a poor technical production and a boring and too linear gameplay.

A solid remaster, with some good improvements in graphics, usability and multiplayer gameplay; it's definitely advised if you never played the original game, but if you've already played it, it couldn't offer enough incentives to go back to Lordran.

AO International Tennis brings some good ideas and gameplay mechanics to the table, but it's too much focused on shots timing to the detriment of other elements like player movement and placement. And its poor graphics and lack of licensed players are simply inexcusable. We'd love to see Big Ant Studios building on it for a better game next year, though.

An engaging and immediate future sport simulation, suited to lovers of team play online games.

State of Decay 2 greatly improves on the first game thanks to wider and more varied environments, great world simulation and character progression systems, better graphics and UI and finally a satisfying co-op mode. It won't satisfy lovers of strong, meaningful stories, but it's definitely one of the best and more enduring survival games around, and a game that lovers of the genre should absolutely have.

City of Brass is a visually and stylistically intriguing roguelite FPS, with a unique touch in its whip mechanics. Unluckily due to poor enemy AI and repetitive combat, though, it fails to reach its full potential.

A fascinating interactive anime, with an adult story, satisfying gameplay and great art and sounds. Some bugs and imprecise controls show it could have been refined more, but it's definitely a worthy experience and one of the most interesting adventures released lately.

Super Mega Baseball 2 is a deep and fun simulation disguised as an arcade game, with good mechanics and a difficulty system capable of adapting to every kind of gamer.

A great stylish 8-bit look is coupled by an effective but a bit generic gameplay, at its best when playing in local co-op.

Ys Origin didn't age too well and it could have been improved with better menus and cut-scenes. But it still remains an enjoyable action-RPG that lovers of the genre should try.

A charming survival game, never frustrating or boring and very friendly with newcomers to the genre too.

A fascinating platformer, with great 16-bit environments and lovable characters. Its fighting system could have been better refined with a more even difficulty and tighter controls, but it's definitely one to play.

Extinction offers an interesting premise, but if feels underdeveloped in all its areas: story, gameplay, level design, graphics. The result is a boring and forgettable action game.

Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice masterfully renders human insanity, introducing a very delicate topic in the gaming world. It succeeds in this thanks to great visual and audio production and brilliant acting. It could have been more varied and refined gameplay wise, but lovers of narrative-focused action adventures will love it.

A solid and humor-filled platformer 2D with lots of memorable moments and a good gameplay variety: definitely one to watch for lovers of the genre.

Scribblenauts meets the party games genre losing part of its DNA in the process. It's still a fun experience, but the series' core mechanics could have been better used.

A very good and captivating co-op game, founded in making a couple of friends live an intense and very interesting story. In the second half there are some pacing slowdowns and gameplay mechanics which could have been more refined, but if you're looking for a game to enjoy with friends or relatives, this won't disappoint you.

Rare delivered a completely new kind of game, mainly focused on letting people create their own adventures alone or with friends, and where everyone is on a level playing field. While the game succeeds in this delivering a very entertaining and visually stunning experience, we feel that it would have greatly benefited from more encounter/mission types and a richer world lore. Hopefully this will be addressed in the coming months.
