A challenging psychedelic platformer, with a nice novelty in its platform generation mechanic and a great electro soundtrack.

Ubisoft strengthens the Far Cry formula introducing new features to make the open world gameplay more organic and streamlined; together with a strong cast of characters, this makes Far Cry 5 the best game in the series since FC3.

A realistic and intriguing Mars colonization sim, but with a bad console porting. Small text, messy and uncomfortable controls and complete lack of a proper tutorial keep it from reaching its full potential.

Big Bad Wolf delivers an intriguing adventure, enriched with complex and totally new RPG dialogue mechanics and brilliant - even if needing more polish - graphics. A very good narrative game that every lover of the genre should try.

Q.U.B.E. 2 improves on the first game in every aspect delivering gorgeous graphics, a more complex plot and more varied gameplay. Its puzzles, though, still stay mostly on the easy side limiting it to a 3-hour experience.

Running on the Snaefell Mountain course is a great experience with gorgeous visuals, both for expert riders and amateurs thanks to several presents going from arcade to simulation. If teels too contents-lacking though, especially for its price point, and the added courses only partially help in this.

5 years later, KING Art's game still proves to be a brilliant adventure game, compelling, full of plot twists and with a great soundtrack. If you like adventure games and detective stories, this is a must buy.

Train Sim World provides a satisfying and realistic train sim experience for the console audience, but it fails to satisfy on the technical side with poor and dated graphics. It looks a bit shot on the contents side too, so there's great margin for improvement with DLCs and patches.

Fear Effect Sedna does many things but with mediocre results in all of them, like with the excessively punishing puzzles or the ridiculous voice acting. It's a real pity, as it shows great love for the original games and it deserved to be more successful.

A satisfying arcade off-road racer, with great graphics but with a not so good frame-rate stability. Its main single-player mode, Off-Road Masters, lacks a bit of spark and longevity, while the multiplayer mode looks too basic and scarcely populated, with long matchmaking times.

A solid survival experience, mostly shining in the single-player due to a content-lacking co-op mode. We would have liked better storytelling and a less repetitive and tedious first part of the game.

Portal's turrets, switches and obviously portals are a perfect fit for ClockStone's physics-based puzzler. It could have been more polished, but it's surely a suggested experience for lovers of Valve's franchise.

Rad Rodgers tries to evoke the great platformers of the 90s but it succeeds only in part, failing to provide a compelling and challenging gameplay like the ones it's inspired by, using a sometimes forced humour and and offering us a too short experience. It still is a decent platformer, but it could have been much more.

A fascinating voyage in the Tarahumara culture and Chihuahua environments, partially offset by a bit tedious fights and too-restricted exploration.

A simplistic 2D pinball experience, adding a progression system and some mini-games to the classical genre formula. Some levels show design flaws though, and the ball physics aren't fully realistic and predictable.

Dynasty Warriors 9 brings an overdue and very welcome change to the series, introducing a massive open world with lots of missions to do, an impressive characters roster and effective gameplay improvements. It's a real pity that much of this gets offset by a very lackluster technical production and some bad design choices. It's definitely the first step in the right direction for the series, but it needs much more perfecting.

Past Cure shows a lot of love for specific video games and movies with a huge ambition to emulate them, but the developers fell incredibly short of their target, producing a very troubled game in pretty much every aspect except for the soundtrack.

Warhorse Studios' RPG amazes for its high realism in recreating every aspect of the Middle Ages: environments, uses, weapons and even fights and character progression. Too bad for its very weak performances and many bugs, but despite this it still remains an advisable game for lovers of RPGs and european Middle Ages tales.

Fe offers us a fantastic world to discover, with great visual and audio design and a very accessible gameplay. It stumbles on the storytelling department though, with a too fragmented and inconclusive story.

The best game in the series so far, with lots of modes and a revamped and captivating Career mode. EA made a great job both on the graphics side, with a great rendition of all the players, and the gameplay, improving all the systems and making it more accessible to newbies too.

The Fall Part 2: Unbound proved to be a double-sided experience: the first half amazed us with a compelling and thought-provoking story, good puzzles and effective mechanics. All of this gets wasted in the second half of the game, which feels more like a pointless filler to artificially inflate the game length with recycled contents, frustrating puzzles and an unsatisfying ending. A real pity.

Celeste surprised us with its tight and challenging but very rewarding gameplay, coupled with a deep story and great level design. Sometimes you can feel lost in the game's vast areas and it could have used a more diversified gameplay, but it's definitely a game to have for lovers of 2D platform games.

Fully Illustrated's brawler sports awesome visuals and tons of violence, with deep and fun gameplay. The campaign falls a bit on the short side, but with local co-op and an Arcade mode, there's no lack of reasons to replay it.

Capcom managed to keep the franchise's core elements intact, while adding a whole layer of new features that make the series more appealing to a wider modern public. A dark and despotic management adventure, where errors often have undesired consequences we have to live with. Controls can be unintuitive and imprecise sometimes, and this brings on some frustration. Overall, though, it's a very interesting game for lovers of managerial titles.
