The simple downfall of Meteos: Disney Magic is that it's no longer about puzzle solving. The action is fast-paced and entertaining, but lacks the addictive quality that makes the original something still worth owning.- Modojo

While the characters are funny and there is a definite old-school/hardcore edge to the design, only those in the market for a tough-as-nails dungeon crawler are likely to find enjoyment here.- Modojo

Visually, the game is excellent - and sometimes astounding. Ratchet's fluid animation must be seen to be believed, and there are moments (Clank's aerial levels come to mind) where the range of colors and particle effects will blow you away.- Modojo

The gameplay offers a few tricks up its sleeve, like with the mugging system and unscrewing the car radios out of vehicles for bonus cash. The presentation appears to be top notch, without missing any steps during its translation to the PSP. And the extras come aplenty.- Modojo

Gurumin serves up a bevy of mostly entertaining fare via its lighthearted romp through a whimsical land of monsters and phantoms. Just don't expect a grandiose story or sweeping genre innovation, and despite its kiddie trappings and minor flaws you may be amazed at how fun this game can be.- Modojo

Capcom Puzzle World won't win any awards in the long-term, and many of you might be annoyed by the presence of Block Block. But the game still has many puzzle moments worth enduring, especially if you're a hardcore fan of Super Puzzle Fighter and the Buster Bros. games.- Modojo

More Castlevania than Metal Gear, but who could fault Konami for bringing their two best franchises into a beautiful marriage?- Modojo

The game itself is timeless. It's not so old that people are turned off by the primitive graphics and it has an engaging enough battle system that those new to turn based RPGs won't get bored. It still has the same fun factor as the SNES game, but now you can take it anywhere you want, so what more can I say?- Modojo

They story is good enough to be in a book and if it weren't for the long-winded dialog, I would rate this game higher. I think if people treat Hotel Dusk more as an interactive novel than an actual game, they'll be less likely to be disappointed.- Modojo

The cases are fun and challenging, the presentation quirky and likable, and the gameplay is as sharp as a tack. If you have any objection to buying this game, consider yourself overruled. It's just too good to pass up. [JPN Import]- Modojo

I'm simply astonished at the fact that Konami has created two of my favorite DS games in only a year apart from each other.- Modojo

If you love to play hours of chess against an opponent who is often much better than you are, then this game could be for you. However, be aware you will have to stomach a terrible storyline in order to play the single player game.- Modojo

Tony Hawk's Project 8 for the PSP isn't as great a game as the console versions. How can it be? It has no real way to resemble the controls without a second analog stick, and the graphics almost feel like an afterthought.- Modojo

While it may lack the "zone out" factor of "Lumines," it has the amusement of "Meteos."- Modojo

The gameplay is addictive and worth going through many stages with, and the presentation has some surprising depth to it. Just don't expect an Egyptian tomb filled with extras and you'll feel right at home with this budget purchase.- Modojo

The best part of the game are the job classes. Final Fantasy III was the first of the series to feature job changing, which helps the replayability aspect of the game.- Modojo

A great game, a rhythm/music game that bends the genre in new directions with its creative design, heartily original soundtrack, and unique gameplay system. Not too much of it is new, but there is a little to explore here that's worth at least a few tries, even if you have to put up with some hiccups just to get past it. [JPN Import]- Modojo

A piece of garbage port of a fifteen-year old Sega Genesis game with only a battery save and a new spin dash move to spruce it up. That's about it. Sonic the Hedgehog Genesis is a travesty of a game that can't even get up to running speed.- Modojo

A classic, lengthy, & challenging platforming experience - the type of game we don't see enough of, anymore. And make no mistake - the game gets CRAZY hard, later on. This is no pushover like "NSMB" or "Super Princess Peach." You WILL die dozens of times in the last world, and bosses WILL stump you.- Modojo

It's a thinking man's game that requires a high chain count and wily thinking in order to assure survival. Some leniency for more amateur players probably should have been granted, but that's probably something that will be saved for "EEE II."- Modojo

Capcom should have tweaked a few things to make this more of an ideal get-together, namely the graphic presentation and the multiplayer options. As is, it's still not bad, and it makes us yearn for a third chapter.- Modojo
