It's frustratingly difficult and mind-numbingly boring, and only the most jaded Pokemon fan will enjoy it.

Lacks a career mode, offers laggy multiplayer, and is fairly unpolished.

Probably what affects the game the worst would be the graphics. Sony and Page 44 Studios were obviously in some sort of quick effort to put the game on the PSP, as the graphics appear to be mostly blocky and underdone.

Another great platformer in a genre that is slowly shifting to 3-D, but hasn't made the movement quite yet. If you're looking for something thoroughly challenging and fun all the same, this is a dream come true.

When compared to the rest of the Ace Combat games before it, it feels like a letdown, limited in so many areas and also forgiving in terms of fighting against a supposedly invincible enemy army.

This game hit me with the authority of a mack truck. I did not expect it to be this captivating.

You may think of it as a castrated form of Tetris Attack, like I did initially, but the infectious qualities of the game will prove something: even though it's not nearly as timeless as some of your favorite puzzlers, this little animal-themed gem still has merit.

In the end, however, the whole effort seems to fall flat, lacking any kind of ambition and yet acting rather stubbornly on the little inventiveness it does have.

Seriously though, if you can track down a copy of It's Mr. Pants buy it immediately. It's not that it's the greatest puzzle game on the market, but it's pretty damn addictive, and it makes you think in ways that games such as Tetris and Lumines don't.

But it doesn't really try to capture the essence or thrill of the game too much, and it takes the easy way out in just being average.

It's good for kids and fans of the movie. It's just run aground with age in terms of its gameplay, its presentation, and its length.

It certainly has its faults, but if you crave some monkey action on the go, it more than satisfies your primal hunger.
