Bullet Time HD can be a bit of a grind, but it's without question one of the best free games on the App Store. At zero dollars, there's no excuse to avoid it.- Modojo

That ChAIR was able to create such a wonderful sequel in a year is a true testament to the talented people working at the studio. With this in mind, Infinity Blade 2 is one of the year's most thrilling video games, a gorgeous and feature packed adventure that demands your attention. In terms if iOS killer apps, it stands alone.- Modojo

It's a bit repetitive, and with only three environments, visually limited, but Major Mayhem delivers thrilling arcade style fun. Worth a buck? Absolutely.- Modojo

It's without question the greatest handheld Mario Kart yet, and a welcome addition to a phenomenal series.- Modojo

What really kills Jurassic Park, though, are those aforementioned hiccups. The game has a tendency to not only stutter, but briefly freeze, making it nearly impossible to obtain gold ranks per mission, as things have a nasty habit of going haywire right before you interact with a scene. The Quick Time Event pops up, the game freezes and you're unable to react, thus receiving bronze or, if you're lucky, silver.- Modojo

We just wish it were a bit deeper. Although blood flows freely, you cannot perform finishing moves to lop off limbs. On top of that, there's no story to speak of.- Modojo

A tough game to recommend. Although it shows signs of life, those bothersome mini games get in the way of what could've been the best 3DS driving game.- Modojo

Sonic Generations doesn't have enough meat on its bones to stand alongside the best handheld Sonics on the market, but it's still worth a look.- Modojo

We've always praised this game for its catchy music, bubblegum graphics and likeable hero. Nothing here has changed our collective opinion. If anything, this is the definitive Kirby's Adventure.- Modojo

Superman's still mildly entertaining in short bursts. On the flip side, Chillingo could've given this game more attention to make it one of the premier superhero titles on the App Store.- Modojo

The presentation, challenging play and hidden items combine to form one of the coolest ninja romps we've played, perfectly suited for the hardcore crowd in desperate search of a challenge amidst easier fare. Just don't expect a cakewalk.- Modojo

To say Ace Combat: Assault Horizon Legacy surprised us would be a huge understatement. This game, originally feared to be a dud, is one of the more impressive 3DS games you'll see. That said, we hope the publisher releases more Ace Combats in the years ahead.- Modojo

Whether or not you should purchase the game depends on how big a fan you are. Of course, the app is a must buy for newcomers, since it's one of the iPhone and iPad's more enjoyable (and shamelessly violent) titles. Besides, it's only a buck.- Modojo

Whether or not you should buy Cave Story 3D boils down to A.) if you played another version before, and B.) how much you loved it. At $39.99, it's significantly more expensive than purchasing the DSiWare port ($9.99) via the 3DS eShop. Go that route, and you receive a similar, arguably better experience at a fraction of the cost.- Modojo

While not the greatest platform game to grace iOS and Android, INC is without question one the best, with spot on controls (so long as you use the on-screen arrows instead of tilting) and a slick old school vibe.- Modojo

A solid portable shooter crippled by rapidly aging hardware. It's tough going from even an iPad shooter like Modern Combat 3: Fallen Nation to this. Of course, if all you own is a DS, it's one of the better first person titles for the system, but that's not saying much.- Modojo

Is it more imaginative than Super Mario Galaxy? No. Will it revolutionize gaming like Super Mario 64. Hardly. Do either of these questions matter? Absolutely not, and don't let anyone prove otherwise. Super Mario 3D Land is the epitome of fun. Most importantly, it's a shining example of everything that's good and wholesome about video games.- Modojo

What appeared to be a gimmick, a game that works in tandem with a series of plastic action figures, is one of the system's finest titles, a colorful, addictive and well designed platform adventure featuring lots of enemies to pummel, items to collect and characters to play as.- Modojo

This is the same Shantae: Risky's Revenge we know and love, but on much better screens. If you beat this game months ago, there's little reason to download it again. If, on the other hand, this is your first time playing, then by all means. It's $2.99 well spent.- Modojo
