    Russian Dancing Men revisits a style of rhythm game pioneered by Masaya Matsuura at the turn of the century, pairing simple controls with the hyper-fun and cheery songs of the ever-popular Weebl's-Stuff.

    The music (the true star of the game) is a riot, both well written and catchy. You'll hum at least one track for days.

    For a budget price, existing Weebl fans will find more than enough to love in Russian Dancing Men. With uninspired yet surprisingly demanding gameplay though, it might be a tough sell for anyone else. Do yourself a favour and enjoy Weebl's animated goodness for free on weebls-stuff.com before investing in the app. If you have a finer appreciation for his work, it'll make what's on offer here much more palatable.

    A few tweaks and Russian Dancing Men could be the rhythm-action game to beat on iOS. As it stands, it's too flawed and frustrating to recommend.
