Ultimately, Riptide GP is a graphically intense and fun racer that'll keep you wet, wild and fully engaged for several hours. Definitely worth $4.99, and congrats to Vector Unit on such a artistically impressive and fun effort. Now bring on the updates.

Sure, it's a bit mindless, but Forever Drive is a sweet ride that's perfect for short and satisfying play sessions whenever, wherever. Every iPhone and iPad owner should have it in his or her collection.

This is still a decently made and somewhat entertaining video game with great potential for expansion. The fact that it's free also helps.

Despite the pretty drawings, Age of Monsters has nothing else going for it. We thought such mindless nonsense died shortly following the App Store's release, back when developers flooded Apple's online store with shovel ware. Sadly, it appears some creators still feel the need to waste everyone's time.

While Pokemon Rumble Blast offers hardcore fanatics another opportunity to "catch 'em all", there's little meat on this game's bones for the casual crowd looking for the next great 3DS title. Not bad by any means, just too shallow to stand out.

It's all about the gameplay, and we can proudly say that Civiballs delivers. Definitely one of this week's surprise games, and well worth your hard earned cash.

Had it debuted several years ago, Spider-Man: Edge of Time may have received praise despite its many flaws. Sadly, its shortcomings are unacceptable today, making it yet another casualty in the ongoing terrible comic book video game saga.

All told, this is without question one of the best games on the App Store, and we strongly suggest downloading it immediately.

Mobile game sequels are hit or miss, as some developers just slap a new skin on an older game. Halfbrick did that with one of the game's modes, but the Bandito mode as well as the humor in the Puss in Boots character makes this version unique. If you played the original, the new mode is worth the purchase, and if you never experienced Fruit Ninja, Puss in Boots is the perfect way to get started.

A moderately enjoyable distraction that lets you slaughter reanimated corpses on the go. Just don't expect to play it long, unless you can't resist investing some real world cash.

Not a bad game at all, though we would have loved more options and a better presentation, including the ability to create our own avatars.

Another fine addition to the celebrated series and one of the last quality puzzle games for Nintendo's DS. Don't miss it.

Charming, intuitive and highly entertaining, Scribblenauts Remix is without question one of the best games the App Store has to offer.

Jaws Revenge is a smartly designed and brutal action game that should satisfy your inner Carcharodon Carcharias. Eat all you want, but take what you eat.

High Flyer Death Defyer is one of the worst titles we've played and needs a huge update to correct its many flaws. Until that happens, avoid this one.

The Dark Meadow has some warts, but it's still a hauntingly beautiful and intriguing game everyone should play, as it offers both a compelling adventure and a glimpse into the future of smart phone gaming.

Unfortunately, Frogger 3D comes up short. We can see select players having a decent time with it, but the cheap deaths quickly sap whatever fun most people would have with it. Perhaps Konami will get it right another 30 years from now.

At the end of the day, we just didn't have the patience or interest to continue. Camping Mama: Outdoor Adventures will likely appeal to hardcore fans, but it's clear this series has run its course.

Rest assured that if you absolutely adore this series, Katamari Amore delivers more of the same. Whether or not that's good enough, though, is entirely up to you.

One hell of a sports game, with plenty of options and teams to keep you kicking for months.

Tetris: Axis is one of the sweetest 3DS games you'll find. It lacks the fun Nintendo themed stages that made Tetris DS unforgettable, but there's so much content, we doubt players will mind; and seriously, you should already own a copy of Tetris DS anyway.

A short but cool game every DS and 3DS fan should own. Just don't sleep on downloading it, since it'll be free until February 20, 2012.

The fact that we enjoyed Another World 20 years after it first debuted is a testament to its greatness. Other games have copied its cinematic storytelling and puzzles, but this is where it all began. Young or old, you'll appreciate much of what this engaging adventure has to offer.
