A solid and largely entertaining side-scroller with retro charm to spare. Random Heroes didn't wow us as expected, but it's another fine game in Ravenous' growing portfolio, as well as a cool retro homage to the good old days.- Modojo

The Tower is a very fun and addicting game. The simplistic gameplay makes it easily accessible, but this title needs a few unlockables or extra options to give players more reasons to return.- Modojo

Artwork and light-heartedness aside, the core tower-building of Happy Squirrels doesn't bring a whole lot of new content to the genre, but the mini-games take the interactivity of these thumb-twiddling titles to a slightly higher level.- Modojo

There's a staggering amount of content that more than justifies the asking price, and we'd like to think hardcore fans won't have too much of a problem with the graphics. At the same time, and considering the resolution gap between the 3DS screen and competing platforms, this title does more harm than good.- Modojo

In the end, though, the music needs to shine, and HarmoKnight fails to measure up to the best in the genre. We continued playing, not to see how the story unfolded, but in the hope the soundtrack would substantially improve.- Modojo

Anyone who played the earlier Dungeon Hunter games will need very little convincing to jump straight into Gameloft's fourth installment of the franchise. Those new to the mobile action-RPG may find the premium purchases a little stifling compared to the feast available on more traditional platforms, but there's ample opportunity to find out if the price suits your pockets from the free download alone.- Modojo

The game is solid if you haven't played the first, but the loose steering causes too many deaths.- Modojo

There's a fairly even spread of pretty obvious, painfully esoteric, and satisfyingly logical puzzles, all mixed together without much consideration for a delicate learning curve. With that said, there are more than enough high points to make this worthy of attention for any room escape puzzle addict.- Modojo

The dreadful soundtrack is by and large the game's worst feature, and you'll probably want to nix the audio. This aside, Relic Rush provides a fun bite-sized mobile experience that, while falling short of greatness, definitely justifies its price. More levels please.- Modojo

We found the game's performance stuttered a little on our second-generation iPad, but it has its charms nevertheless - just don't expect to take on the global leaderboards without buying yourself a competitive edge.- Modojo

It's because of those gameplay limitations that ZEZ is a rather short-lived affair, although you'll undoubtedly have a blast for whatever amount of time you spend with this generously free game.- Modojo

While not a true sequel, Super Monkey Ball Bounce will provide several hours of fun. Since it's free, all Monkey Ball fans should give it a serious look.- Modojo

Amazing Thief is a very fun title, but probably not charming or innovative enough to be the next great mobile game. It may look simple and easy, but it takes a while to master the jump physics. Some people may not have that time, and considering the other issues, may pass it by.- Modojo

All things considered, Tekken Card Tournament may not the greatest game in the genre, but it will tickle the fancy of any feverish battler - at least for a short while.- Modojo

Had Where's My Water? 2 followed the same pricing structure as the original, it would've fared much better. It's a good sequel; just one that may drain your wallet.- Modojo

Infiltrator provides a small slice of the big budget experience on a portable device, and there's a wonderful sense of satisfaction that comes from cutting through a small band of soldiers. It also helps that it's easy on the eyes and presents a decent story.- Modojo

Only dedicated fans are going to feel immediately at home with Battle of the Beards, but those who love the show - or are just in the mood for a silly throwaway mini-game app - will find much to love regardless.- Modojo

Traditional shooter fans will likely find the pace of gameplay a little too slow for their liking at first, but once you settle into the rhythm of things you'll understand that this is a very enjoyable game of cautious cat-and-mouse. It's just a shame those in-app purchases put such a dent in the game's otherwise very solid armor.- Modojo

Even with its questionable payment structure and lacking touch controls, Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga is a fun space romp that kids and die-hard fans will enjoy. Better yet, it costs you nothing to try.- Modojo

Silent Scope it ain't, but Clear Vision 3 is an accomplished sniping action game that provides a satisfying does of gunplay, provided you can accept its freemium settings. It certainly doesn't hurt to give it a try.- Modojo

These complaints ultimately make Castlevania: Lords of Shadow- Mirror of Fate disposable and just short of being considered a classic, but so long as you except the game for what it is, you'll most likely have a zombie-whipping good time.- Modojo

Not exactly content rich, but that's the point. Ultimately, you get to play this expansion free of charge, and if you like what's here (and you should), a dollar gets you the full shebang. Offroad Legends Sahara doesn't pack enough content to last even a weekend, but for a couple hours, it satisfies.- Modojo

There's lots to like about the game though, not least because this is a paid-for tower-sim that's entirely free of in-app purchases. If games like Tiny Tower tickle your fancy, yet you find the unavoidable pay-to-advance elements distasteful, you'd be silly not to at least consider calling in on Smooth Operators.- Modojo

Fish Hooks isn't the most challenging physics puzzler we've ever played, but that's not necessarily a bad thing, given how often these games come to lean on mere frustration in lieu of satisfying gameplay.- Modojo

We had fun while it lasted in Monster Story. Those with a fondness for empire-building games, and who long for a revival of the Viva Pinata franchise will get much from the game, just as long as they also have a great deal of patience to go along with that passion.- Modojo
